Baking Round-up: Autumn

Hello there once again. Welcome to the Baking Round-up, this month it’s all about cosy autumnal bakes. I’ve managed to pull together an amazing collection of baking recipes that really embraces this time of year thanks to a very talented bunch of bloggers.

Halloween fun

These Halloween Cake Pops from Cooking with my kids would make perfect Halloween party treats, whilst my Chocolate Orange Halloween Cookies are not only easy to bake but taste pretty yummy too. The Intolerant Gourmand has created these cheeky mummy inspired Halloween Cookies, that are gluten free and vegan too. Whilst the Gluten Free Alchemist has baked these super cute Halloween Pumpkin Mini Rolls.

Autumnal fruits

When I think of of autumn baking, I think of cosy puddings like apple crumble gently spiced with cinnamon and served with custard. Only Crumbs Remain has taken these gorgeous flavours and baked these Mini Apple & Cinnamon Turnovers. Glutarama has baked a delicious gluten free Apple & Cinnamon Cake, that makes the most of this flavour pairing. I can’t think of anything better than apple crumble and cheesecake, I’m completely won over by Baking Explorer’s Apple Crumble Cheesecake. Lost in Food has baked a family favourite her, Mum’s Eve’s Pudding. I’ve mentioned my love of a good apple crumble but I’d be easily swayed to try the Vegan Spiced Plum Crumble by Yumsome.

Next month the theme is Christmas, yes it may still be October but I’m sure plenty of you are already thinking about Christmas. I’m hoping it’s not just me, but I do like to get ahead with my Christmas baking plans. Please share your Christmas bakes by joining the linky below.

Thank you Julie for featuring my little ghosties. They look extra cute and I feel a pang of guilt for having eaten them all! xx
