My Best Post of the Week #MBPW

MBPWHello, hello, how are you all?

Isn’t it amazing the difference a week can make in your life? If I think back to this time last week I was very sad. I wrote about not sharing everything that happens in your life on your blog because it can backfire on you. Can you remember? I’d had to come to terms with having to let go of a friendship that no longer had any life in it. I mourned and, as always happens, slowly I moved on and this week

I feel so much better!

Yes I took a tough decision, yes it took me for ages to decide but once that decision had been taken there was no going back and even if I made the wrong decision I can say that this week I feel lighter, happier and more secure than I have in a long, long time.

This deomstrates two things – the first how our feelings are dominated by the world around us and the moment you’re living and secondly, once a decision has been made for better or worse at least you are free to move on and let out one massive sigh of relief.

This week you MUST read Hanna Rosin’s guest post Has women’s time really come? I’m a huge fan of Girl Power and will promote anyone who’s having a go till the cows come home so I loved Jen’s Google+ hangout with Hanna, very interesting.

Also we’ve had another week of fabulous round ups, Michelle shares what our favourite expats have been up to, I always find it interesting to live our country through someone else’s eyes or see new countries through our Brit’s abroad eyes.

You MUST check out Maggy’s Halloween inspired craft round-up I am the worst crafter in the world but there are some projects even I can tackle there.

Our lovely Kate wants us to raise awareness and we’re in the midst of October Pink month, add your posts to her Linky.

Health by Laura from Chez Mummy is a good one, my twins have been out for the count for the past fortnight with a vomit bug urrghhh. I cannot tell you the joy I had Friday morning taking them both to school, I wept at the school gates – I may have a post for you Laura on that one!

Beauty by LouiseYummyMummy? Really? is perfect for kicking my fat derriere into motion. Have you seen the Britmums #WWBack2BestTeam? An awesome group of 20 gals who are testing the Weight Watchers app for us and losing weight too, keep an eye out for their posts and get yourself in tip-top condition for Christmas.

Style by Beth Goodrham has some excellent tips but make sure you add your own too, I’m sure we all have a few tips to pass on make sure yours get heard too 😉

Which was your best post of the week people? Add it to the Linky below and try to comment on at least two others. I did very badly last week, a trip to London, a weekend of relax and spending time with the girls meant no comments from me so I am determined to prove myself this weekend. Join in the fun and see you next week.

Hi Mari, Aah that's so sad to hear. Funnily enough I wrote about 'Friends' this week and mentioned how hard it is to split with another woman. I think it's the intimacies we share. It can be so painful when that occurs, but there's no doubt some 'friendships' can be one sided and unhealthy and it takes great strength to break free. Have linked my post above. Glad to see you're bucking up already. X

So glad to hear you are feeling more up beat this week. I could feel the weight on your shoulders last week and felt very sad for your situation. In moments of crisis I often keep myself going with the knowledge that by the next day or the day after that things will seem easier and less of a strain than they do in that very moment you live them. Onwards and upwards.
