The weather is getting colder and the winter season is on its way. It is the time when colds hit and families struggle with snuffling, sneezing and ever-flowing mucus. No parent enjoys seeing their child suffer and it is even worse if it seems there is little you can do to help. Children get cranky and sleepless nights help nobody.
We asked parent bloggers to try out some products from Dentinox that aim to help families during cold season and report back. Here’s what they had to say. (All bloggers received the items to review; opinions are their own.)
Reviews of Snufflebabe Nasal Aspirator
Lorraine explained how her daughter’s clearer nose meant she was quieter, reducing the risk of waking her sleeping sister with rather impressive snorts and snores.
Kate was a little worried at the idea of the aspirator but learned there really was nothing to stress about. “Whoosh and her nose was clear.”
Mags wasn’t convinced her twins would let her use it but it worked well for the family. She thinks the success is largely down to the design which enables a quiet suction, limiting the disturbance to baby.
Sarah Jayne explained how easy it is to clean afterwards.
Perhaps Louise summed it up best by saying using the aspirator is like blowing your children’s nose for them.
Reviews of Dentinox Medicine Dispenser
Laura explained how the dispenser means a child is getting medicine without realising it whilst sucking on the dummy.
Sara felt the dispenser would be great for babies who do not like the syringes that come with some medicines.
Jayne describes her feelings of joy when she realised she would not have to wrestle with her child to give medicine.
Deborah also liked the lack of fuss and also commented on the lack of mess when using the dispenser.
Jennifer has given the dispenser plenty of action as her baby struggled with the pain of teething.
Reviews of Snufflebabe Vapour Dummy and Oil
Donna explained how you add a couple of drops of Snufflebabe Vapour Oil to the pad, and snap the dummy shut.
Colette told us how whilst baby is sucking their dummy they are inhaling the vapour and clearing their little nose.
Niki felt even if the child did not keep the dummy in all night you can leave it in the bed beside her so that she could still inhale the vapours to help clear her nose
Leanne was a big fan of the dummy combined with the vapour oil.
Kara used the Vapour Oil dropped on an old pillow case in her son’s bedroom to help keep his snuffly nose clear.
