Join the #BMB New Member November Blog Hop

Every day we have new members joining BMB. There are loads of interesting new voices and great new blogs but unless you're trawling our "New to Blogging" board regularly you may find it hard to discover them.

So we're introducing the New Member Blog Hop. A Blog Hop is simple: it's a list of blog with links and you can pick up the coding to pop it into one of your blog posts so readers who come visit your blog keep hopping onto all the other ones on the list.

If you're a new blogger: Add your blog to the list and insert the code at the bottom of your latest post to take part. You don't have to literally be a new blogger, just in the mood to find new blogs and new reads.

If you're an old hand: Check out the list below to meet the gals (and guys) and drop by their blogs to say hello. You might find your new must-read. Add your blog and code too. The more the merrier.

It's a fun way to find new blogs and new readers.

So get hopping!

Here's the code for for Blogger and Typepad:

<script src="http://www.linkytools.com/basic_linky_include.aspx?id=56431" type="text/javascript"></script>

 And here's the WordPress code:

<p><b>Powered by Linky Tools</b></p><p><a href="Click" _mce_href="http://www.linkytools.com/wordpress_list.aspx?id=56431&type=basic">Click">http://www.linkytools.com/wordpress_list.aspx?id=56431&type=basic">Click here</a> to enter your link and view this Linky Tools list…</p>

    How weird is that?
I had exactly the same idea on Friday when I launched my Make A Friend Friday (which I’ve included in your blog hop too). In fact Thursdays’ post on Mari’s World was about making a badge for it, an idea I had last week that would hopefully become a fixed feature on my blog.
I also added it to the newbie forum on BMB in the hope that newcomers to blogs would join in and meet the lovley bloggers I have met on my journey in the blogosphere.
As everyone told me on Friday – it’s a brilliant idea for olduns and newbies alike to meet.
Mind you if you start doing it regularly I doubt very much there’ll be excess bloggers with my little blog in mind which is a shame isn’t it?
Oh well. Great minds think alike and all that eh?

I think it’s a great idea – I quite often take part in a lot of the US blog hops, they have them practically every day of the week under all sorts of different names. It’s a great way to get new followers and to find new blogs – I look forward to joining in next time too

I think I am being a little bit thick as i am trying to add the link to my post and it wont post and keep saying the tag is broken. What am I doing wrong please? I am copying the following link into the link box you get when you click the icon on the top of your post which normally allows you to add a link in, is this right?
    Thanks

Are you on wordpress by any chance? I just added the code for wordpress, so hopefully that will help.

So sorry to be thick, not quite with it at the moment. When I try to add the code to Blogger it just shows the code instead of the tool, what am I doing wrong?

Erm. I guess I am supposed to be an ‘old hand’ at this, but at the moment I feel rather only old. Can’t get the link right either. I am on wordpress. Any ideas? Thanks! x
