    Style Round-up: Stepping into spring

Not that I’m trying to make small talk, but haven’t we had some beautiful weather over these past few weeks? Spring is just around the corner and it feels wonderful to be able to leave my huge parka coat at home and wear my dainty pink pumps instead of my chunky winter boots. We’ve even had our legs out, with me in dresses and the boys in their shorts. Hello spring, and roll on summer! I can’t wait to see what gorgeous spring and summer fashion the bloggers will be wearing this year.

Isn’t it the best feeling when you try on a new outfit and it just makes you feel GOOD? I wore this pretty @tiffanyroseuk dress to my baby shower yesterday and I felt so glam after always wearing jeans and boots on the daily school run. Apart from the bruises on my legs from my little tinks tearing about and climbing on me all day. Oh well. You can’t have it all! 😄 I had such a fabulous afternoon yesterday, @whatkatysaiduk was there as was @amumcalledlucy. I’ll tell you more about it soon, and there’s a post up on the blog about this dress if you want a closer look 😊 I’m due a month today, how crazy is that!

As I’ve hit the home stretch of this pregnancy I have had to admit defeat: my maternity jeans just do not fit anymore! I actually ripped one pair when trying to put them on, which was slightly embarrassing. I have some beautiful maternity dresses to wear instead, such as the floral Tiffany Rose Willow dress above which is perfect for spring. On colder days my Jojo Maman Bebe knitted tube dress keeps me warm yet is still bang on trend.

Once this baby is here and I’ve (hopefully) lost the weight I gained during pregnancy, I’ll be treating myself to some new jeans. Emma from Bubbablue and Me shared a fantastic post with tips on how to find the perfect pair. For children’s fashion I loved this post from Frenchie Mummy featuring one of my favourite brands, Polarn O. Pyret. Their clothes are so colourful and fun, and their party collection was no exception. Finally, Joanne from Opposable Thumbs shared a great post about decluttering her beauty stash. This is something I reckon we all could do with doing! How long have you had that tube of mascara or that blusher lurking in your drawers?

Have you got a style post you’d like to share with us? You can tweet me at @QFSheSaid, email me or add them to the linky below!
