Slouch has it’s place for many of us in our day to day lives but that’s no reason not to be stylish too. I’ve been documenting the days where I struggle to look stylish and am being tag teamed by my two-under-two boys with a hashtag dedicated to those mothers that have a bad moment or bad (#MotherWarrior over on instagram) and then my friend Hannah found the perfect combo for me in a Warrior Tee! This is a great addition to my wardrobe alongside the Selfish Mother tees I have shouted out about before!
This month though I’ve been rocking a simple style however it seems a lot of us are still into winter style at the moment!
My personal pick of the month is my combo of slouchy boyfriend jeans, simple vest top, Blowfish boots and topping off with a statement necklace! Feels comfy but also looks quite stylish when you’re out too just pop on a smart blazer and you’re good to go.
Sometimes it’s the simple crossover pieces that can flit between winter and spring that are the perfect partnership. Our very own BritMums Blog Editor Nadine (JuggleMum) has been talking about Winter Lifesavers. I love the jumper in this piece with its classic design. Perfect to pop on over my outfit!
Sonia showed off some perfect winter slouch for the kids and showed off some of her girls fabulous Saltwater style! I love a good bright hoody or waterproof suit and The Mummy Adventure boys join in with some fab jumping in puddles clothing too!
Fashion Mommy has been talking more swish than slouch over her on her blog. The SAG Awards some some lovely dresses. Of course this is the kind of style I don when doing the washing up/school run. A girl can dream, right?
But my favourite outfit at all can be found and Wild & Grizzly. I am lusting over Lori’s coat! Perfect for the post valentine day date! It’s swish and slouch all at the same time and it works!
Just need to book a babysitter now…..
Show of your style on the #BritMumsStyle over on Instagram or your blog and I could feature you next month! Follow @chellemccann or @the_lifestyle_log for more style and messy hair photos if you dare!
