Reviews: Winter family holidays at home & abroad

Review 800x400
I know that Summer hasn’t even really ended but the Summer holidays have. I don’t know about you but I need something to look forward to. Last year, we went on our family holiday in November and it was great to go during the colder, darker months. So, rather than talking about Christmas in September (already??!) I thought I’d find us all some winter getaways to suit all budgets.

Nadia from Scandimummy went on a wonderfully snowy winter holiday with her family to Val Di Fiemme in Italy. I have never been on a snowy holiday and this has definitely jumped up my list of must go tos! However, if you’d rather stay close to home then Fran from Whinge Whine Wine is showing everyone the amazing time you can have in winter and yes of course at Christmas when visiting Bluestone Wales!

Another place on my must go to before I die list is New York in Winter and Melissa from Fly Drive Explore has made me want to go anymore. Perhaps I have just seen Home Alone 2 too many times! Of course, if you’re like me you may want a lot of sunshine during the cold English Winter and Helena over at Baby Foote has down a nice round-up of Toddler Friendly Sunny Winter Holidays which are all not a disastrously long flight away.

As I said, I was fortunate enough to jet off on holiday last November to Tenerife at the Hotel Suite Villa Maria which for a luxury hotel was super family friendly and there was enough to keep every member of the family relaxed and entertained!

Hopefully this has inspired you to book a winter getaway for you and the family either here in the UK or abroad in the snow and the sun!
