Pinterest: Shopping ideas for last minute Christmas gifts

For those of you still in the process of doing your Christmas shopping, don’t panic! There’s still just enough time to pick up the perfect presents to wow your loved ones. Here’s a little bit of help and inspiration from BritMum Rachel Bustin with ideas on everything from toys to gifts for the family trending on Pinterest right now.

If you are one of those super organised types I’m pretty sure you will have your Christmas gifts all sorted and wrapped up. However, if you are the last-minute shopper I’m going to share with you Christmas gift ideas that are trending on Pinterest at the moment for this month’s roundup post.

Gifts for kids

I’m starting off with kids Christmas gifts and these gift ideas from Attachment Mummy, who shares with us 19 of the best Melissa & Doug toys as shown by her bright and bold pin. These low-tech toys encourage pretend play and help child development with open-ended play. Most of their toys are made from durable wood and made to last even with the roughest of play. Freddies Mummy UK has a huge list of gift ideas for 9 year old boys, from educational to toys and sporting gifts. Her pin is full of inspiration for this age range.

If you are fed up with toys, how about gifting non-toys for Christmas? Me and B Make Tea has a great list of gifting non-toy things for Christmas. The pin for this post gives nothing away but is worth looking at. Great for last-minute gift ideas when you can gift vouchers for experiences and days out.

Gifts for the family

If you are on a budget, Laura at Savings 4 Savvy Mums has a brilliant pin and post over on her blog with 147 cheap Christmas gifts for the whole family. The pin shows us gifts under £5, gifts for mums and dads. Julie over at Mummy It’s OK has a pin showcasing her list of gifts for busy working mums.

Serenity You has a wonderful pin for her Christmas gift guide for him. Natasha’s pin showcases the gifts within her gift guide and is an eye-catcher within the Pinterest feed. Emma Reed has lots of tips on being more eco-friendly this Christmas which she shows on her popular pin with brown paper wrapping paper and string.

Most of the last-minute gift guides trending on Pinterest are of homemade gifts that can be made from things lying around at home. So don’t worry if you are in a rush and have missed delivery dates. Have a look on Pinterest for ideas. I’m sure you will find a gift just right for your loved one.

This month’s Pinterest roundup is my last for Britmums, I have thoroughly enjoyed writing these posts for nearly two years. But feel it’s time for me to move on from this role and pass it onto another blogger. Thank you for reading my posts over this time and I wish you all a fantastic Christmas and Happy New Year.
