Newbie Round-up: New year, new bloggers

Newbies badgeHappy New Year!  I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and were spoiled by your loved ones.  2016, a new year, new starts and many more new bloggers for us all to discover and fall in love with.  There is nothing quite like finding a new blog that you adore and there are plenty of new bloggers who would love you to fall in love with their blogs.

I am here to help you all find and celebrate new bloggers so, without further ado, I have received lots of submissions this month and can’t wait to share some of the amazing posts with you.

First up is Jenny from Monkey and Mouse.  She brought a tear to my eye with the beautifully touching a poem to my boys, about her sons growing up; parenting is so bittersweet and this poem sums it up beautifully.

“To hold her son and feel his heart beating, felt like the most beautiful gift a woman could ask for, better than true loves kiss”, Tanita’s post, if her love could speak, was another fabulous example of stunning writing.

New bloggers, like seasoned ones, can be brave and can write from the heart in order to share their story and in the hope of helping others.  Mummy Lala used her tremendous courage to share her miscarriage story.  Much love to you and thank you for sharing your experience with us all.

In a change of tone, I wanted to share some posts by bloggers who have a talent for comedy.  Parenting can be tough, so having these blogs to go to for a daily dose of humour can be just the ticket.

This Mum’s Life penned such a funny post We Need To Talk About the Conditions of My Imprisonment, drawing the similarities of parenting and imprisonment; I think she has a point.  Such a funny post.

Mama Zen wrote a letter to the Board of Parenting from her position as a member of the under-fives division. She feels her contract has been breached, thinking about it, I think mine has been too….

If you are a new mum then according to Redefined Prose you are basically a jedi.  This supremely funny post had me agreeing and laughing in equal measure.

The final post I would like to highlight is a funny take on a Baby Oaty Fruity Baby Bars recipe post.  Such a giggle courtesy of Parenting in Pajamas.

Please go and pay a visit to these talented bloggers, I know you won’t regret it.  I hope this has given you some new bloggers to add to your daily reading and I can’t wait to be back in February with some more wonderful bloggers to showcase.

I can be found over at You Baby Me Mummy, @Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.  If you would like to submit a post for consideration please email me on youbabymemummy@gmail.com

This is really fantastic, thank you so much for including me this month. It means an awful lot and I'm hoping by spreading our miscarriage story that we can help raise awareness and help others who have gone through something similar. Thank you so much.
