Almost half way through the summer holidays now and I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to.

Have you been out somewhere nice and written about it? Have you been on holiday and if so where did you go? I love our big wide world and when I win the lottery I shall travel as much as I can… she says dreamily.

Back to reality and let’s talk about food, this week you’ll be reading Emma’s inspirational foodie round-up, it’s an excellent resource to refer back to time and time again and if you do have a go at any of the recipes then let us know how you got on and more importantly the author who published it.

If you are a Foodie then our BritMums Food might be of interest this autumn, a smaller, more intimate conference based totally on er.. food – a culinary delight with workshops, sessions and brands to talk to. It should be an amazing event. Tickets are running out fast so make sure you get your hands on one now if you’re interested.
