Autumn is nearly here, and if you are like me, I am already thinking about getting warm and cozy with the interiors in my home. I’ve been very busy this summer, with a big makeover of my daughter’s room, that I really wanted to share with you today. We bit the bullet, and went for a more mature look for the room with everything changing from floors, furniture and even lighting. Here it is : the Teen Bedroom Makeover, with rich colours, a local map feature wall which I love, and a sheepskin rug finishing off the new flooring.

Some perfect for keeping your autumnal toes warm, on these nippy mornings when you are getting out of bed. Jen looks at different ways you can style them, in this great creative styling post.
I love a makeover post, and they really are my favourite ones to share here on my BritMums round-ups. This is a particularly stylish one from Karen at The White Approach, what a gorgeous job she made on this door and the window panel.
How about this from Mari, who is showing off her twin daughters bedroom, which has given a grown-up makeover, now they are at Junior school. I think the white walls and shutters have added so much light to what Mari describes as a previously gloomy room. Some lovely detailing, I especially love the letters above the window and the mismatched door knobs!
I met the fab writer (Victoria) from the Owl and Accordion blog recently at an event, and wanted to share with you a couple of her posts about her son’s – the kiddos room. In this post Victoria shows us the gorgeous wall art and in another even more vintage and hand-made goodies. They really appeal to me, and are sure to inspire anyone looking for something a little unique to add to a kids bedroom.
