#FaveFamilyRecipes competition Terms and Conditions

  • This #FaveFamilyRecipes competition draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. It is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), excluding employees and their families of the Promoter, its associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies and agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Participants must be 18 years or over.
  • Five winners will be chosen based on creativity, ease-of-use, family-friendliness and nutritional value. One will receive a main prize of a mid-week short break for a family of four to Center Parcs from 1st February 2013 – 1st July 2013. Four runners-up will receive £50 worth of Merlin Adventure Vouchers, which includes access to the following attractions: Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Alton Towers, Legoland, Madame Tussauds, Thorpe Park. For a full list visit www.merlinannualpass.co.uk. To be used from 1st February 2013 – 1st July 2013. All five winners will have their recipes featured in the Tilda cookery app.
  • Participants enter by submitting a family recipe that uses any ingredients to the #FaveFamilyRecipe Linky on the BritMums blog, and tweeting the entry to @BritMums using the #FaveFamilyRecipe hash tag. The recipe may be newly added to the blog or an existing post but must include all/part of this sentence: ““This post is part of the #FaveFamilyRecipes Competition with BritMums and Tilda Rice. Every pack sold will provide a meal to an expectant mum in need in support of the World Food Programme’s Mothers Helping Mothers initiative in Bangladesh.”
  • It is a condition of entry that all postings are subject to the terms and conditions. Submission of a posting will be taken to mean acceptance of the above rules and terms and conditions.

  • All entries must be received by 21 January 2013 GMT.
  • Winners will be chosen based on the above listed criteria from users who have blogged a family recipe and tweeted it with hashtag #FaveFamilyRecipes, and included it in the Linky on the BritMums blog.
  • Winners will be notified via email to the email account they used when submitting their blog post link to the Linky. They have 48 hours to respond and claim their prize after being notified, after which time the prize will be considered unclaimed and will be re-assigned using a random selection method.
  • Prizes are administered separately from BritMums. BritMums, its partners and agents are cannot be held responsible for problems related to fulfillment of prizes including non-delivery or substitution due to original prize being unavailable.
  • It’s the responsibility of the winner to ensure they are eligible to receive the prize. The winner is solely responsible for travel costs, insurance, applicable taxes and for any costs, expenses and charges not specified as being included in the prize description in the competition information.
  • By entering the Linky, participants grant BritMums and Tilda the right to promote entries via the blog, network and social media channels such as Twitter, G+, Pinterest, Facebook and others as well as the Tilda cookery app.

  • Posts, pictures and tweets with the hashtag(s) may be used in promotional materials for BritMums and Tilda, published on the BritMums network, used on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest and other social media platforms and/or published in the BritMums blog. Participation will be taken as agreement for use of material in this way.
  • Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of a prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
  • The promoter reserves the right to remove an entry that is threatening, abusive, harassing or invasive of a person’s privacy; sexist, racist, profane, blasphemous, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory and/or offensive; promotes violence or advocate, condone or assist any unlawful act; describe violent intentions towards other people or organisations; is pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene or lewd; is used to impersonate any person or to misrepresent the participant’s identity.
