What were you doing then on 12.12.2012 at 12.12? I missed it in all honesty as I was checking how my chicken was roasting, I didn’t look at my watch until 12.23 by which time the world hadn’t ended, my chicken was almost done and there were no zombies ‘alla 28 days’ roaming the streets, quite disappointing really but now we’ve got the End of the Mayan calendar this week to look forward to on the 21st, now that should bring some fun or some interesting reading at least.
What do you make of all the ‘End of the world’ claims? Can anyone remember the fear on New Year’s Eve 1999 when it was claimed our computers would give up and die on us as they couldn’t figure out how to get to 2000?
I don’t know about you but as the year draws to a close I find myself reassessing what I have done, the choices I have made, my progress – or lack of. It’s a time of reflection and I see many bloggers across the community doing the same.
Some who have decided to treat themselves to a break after years of hard work. I find this a necessary part of life, a time to recharge the batteries and decide what we’d like to do next in life or which direction we’d like to take. It’s inevitable that some bloggers will never return and others will come back more determined than ever.
Are there some changes you’d like to make to your blog? Would you like to discover a new area of blogging, maybe branch into travel or food or the popular craft blogging. That’s the beauty of blogging, it is ours to decide what we want to do with it. There are no fixed rules.

My Uncle lives in Bugarach, the village in France that is supposed to be the only place that will survive. He keeps coming across all sorts of funny people in the run up to next week!! :D
