Happy New Year! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas break and are all settled back into a routine after all the festivities and a very warm welcome to the first family days out round-up of 2018.

I have to admit it has been a fairly quiet one in our household thanks to the dreaded lurgy hitting us over Christmas and New Year and it has been a really tough one to shake off.

The cold weather has given lots of you some lovely days out and lots of you have been enjoying the great outdoors.

Juggling on Rollerskates has been dancing on ice and iceskating at Brighton Pavilion, Over40MumtoOne has enjoying the seaside in Swanage, whilst we were up the road in Wool enjoying all the fun of Monkey World and Lakes Single Mum was slightly more energetic with a fell running challenge in the snow.

There are many attractions that close in January, but others that embrace the colder, darker weather and Digital Motherhood headed out to Longleat to enjoy their Festival of Light, Over40MumtoOne went to Waddeston Manor to see their Imaginarium and Plutonium Sox has been enjoying the Adam Speaks exhibition at Croome.

The great outdoors is always an appealing day out and Wandermust Family have been exploring Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire, West Country Mum has been for a cycle ride in Moors Valley and Two Tiny Hands has been enjoying Williamson Park in Lancaster. Dear Mummy braved the chilly water and went for a paddle on Fistral Beach in Newquay, the Coombe Mill gang took the barefoot river challenge and Him Me Three headed off to see the seals at Horsey Gap with her family.

If you have been enjoying the great outdoors this month, please do leave a link below and see you for more family fun in February!!
