So this month I’m sharing your posts grouped by information, things to make and reviews of eco products.
First, if you are looking for information about environmental issues, of course the BritMums community has that covered. Eco Thrifty Living writes about microbeads and how they are going to be banned in the UK, My Make Do and Mend Life raises awareness of the importance of recycling less in favour of reducing waste (resulting in less waste that needs recycling) and A Green and Rosie Life continues this theme in her post about the future of recycling (and also has 100 suggestions to reduce the plastic you use).
So now you’re motivated to reduce your environmental impact here are some ideas to help you. Red Ted Art has 22 suggestions on how to use felt scraps and there is a recipe to make zero waste chocolate macaroons over at My Make Do And Mend Life.
If you’re wanting to buy environmentally friendly products, again the BritMums community has got that covered. Last month Gina at Gypsy Soul reviewed the Reusable Face Wipes she made using coconut oil, while both PlutoniumSox and Babiafi have written reviews of children’s clothing from Sense Organics.
I hope these posts inspire you to reduce your environmental impact. If so please let me know in the comments below or leave a comment on the relevant post to encourage the blogger to keep sharing their environmental posts. Plus don’t forget to send me links to your environmental posts for the next round-up via my blog or tweet me @katedavis.
