Come eat cake in aid of Bake-A-Wish

Here’s an invitation you won’t want to miss: Come eat cake, for a good cause.

Yes, that’s right. Earlier this month Bake-A-Wish® and Fairy Liquid invited families to submit pictures of their ideal fairytale cake, with one chosen to turn into a real cake. The idea: break the Guinness World Records™ title for the world’s largest cake sculpture and raise money for children. Now Amanda Holden has announced that winner: Natasha and her castle in the clouds.

Her drawing has the honour of being turned into a giant cake 12 metres by 10 metres. The cake will be at London’s Westfield Shepherds Bush Shopping centre this weekend, from Friday 28th November 2014 to Sunday 30th November 2014.

Come eat cake and help Make-A-Wish

And here’s the good part: You can come along, have a slice and contribute to the good cause behind it all. They need 12,000 people to each eat a slice — with a suggested donation of a £1 per slice to Bake-A-Wish — for the Guinness record attempt to count.

Bake-A-Wish® is the annual baking fundraising drive for Make-A-Wish® UK, which grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
