Loved your vlog! I've recently started vlogging at cocomamastyle on YouTube. I enjoy it! I've also recently started watching others but agree with what you said about not being 'in the room' when watching something rather than reading. *she writes while shushing child*

Hi Gemma I loved watching your vlog, and from it, I feel like I 'know' you a little better now! Such is the magic of vlogging! My fave bit was the 'fannying around' and also the bedroom location! The other YouTubers do it in their bedrooms I think as most of them still live with 'Mum'! I myself, usually vlog in the kitchen- go figure! Anyway, great post!

Love it. Whenever I try I have a 3yo turn up to interrupt. Really annoying. I find I err a lot, and then ramble on for way too low. It's a lot of effort to do it well and be a natural.
And I agree on watching vlogs. I blog in front of the tv in the living room with the OH, so I'd rather read a post, and if there's a vlog I rely on there being a transcript. It's too antisocial to sit there with headphones on.

Ah! I am not alone. It's a tricky thing, I do think headphones create a barrier, when we are already locked into our laptops. Obviously, the more you do it, the less erring - I guess. Interrupting children, I have no tips, in my experience small children are absolutely glued to the TV, unless you are trying to do something important in the next room - it is as if they have sixth sense....

Great video!! I really need to get into vlogging. I used to do it years ago, before I even had a blog, but there were some trolls and it discouraged me. I'm wondering if I may do vimeo instead but I know that both SEO and traffic wise it's not as good.

Give it another go Elizabeth, if you have the experience and the skills, I imagine it's like riding a bike. Can't comment on Vimeo, I guess if you are embedding it in a post, you can use text around it for bump up the SEO? To be honest, I am not the best person re. SEO.
