BritMums Blogging Prompts: 7 Deadly Sins and Pivotal Moments

I’ve paddled my way to the laptop in the hopes that the whole of the BritMums Blogging Community hasn’t floated away themselves! Ah, Summer in England! Isn’t it glorious? Thanks to the lack of sunshine, you may be lacking in inspiration this week so as ever, BritMums is here to give you a shove in the right direction. Are you ready for this week’s BritMums Blogging Prompts?

Prompt 1: 7 Deadly Sins

Inspired by a suggestion from @kateonthinice, we challenge you this week to pick one of the 7 Deadly Sins to write about. If you’re anything like me, when trying to remember a series of anything, I always get to the last one and am stumped. Sleepy, Happy, Sneezy, Dopey, Grumpy, Doc and… See?? Anyway, I digress…here you go: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony. Take one of these and give us a creative writing exercise, if you will. We can’t wait to see who takes on LUST! 50 Shade of Blogging Grey anyone?

Prompt 2: Pivotal Moments

Has there been a pivotal moment in your life where you made a decision that changed your course? Was it for the better or worse? Can you imagine what the difference had been if you had made a different choice? What factors brought you to that decision? What was the end result? This is a tricky one but an interesting one…we’d love to see a few of you take this on!

As always, write your post(s), pop back over here and Link up your post url in the Linky below and do your best to visit a few of the blogs around yours. That’s the best part about a Linky…you have new material right there to delve into! We hope you’ve been inspired by these two prompts. If you have a suggestion, leave it in the comments below and if we use it we’ll be sure to link to you. Have a wonderful week…stay dry and…

Happy Blogging!
