Rain, rain, go away, come again another day! We’re all a bit water-logged this week aren’t we? Of course we NEED the rain but it does add another dimension to parenting when the rain never seems to let up! I’ve got my raincoat and wellies on and have spent some time wading into the blogging waters (see what I did there?) to trawl for this week’s BritMums Blogger of the Week and I’ve managed to reel in (oh dear, have I gone too far?) a prize catch!
Penny at The Alexander Residence has been a very busy blogger the last few weeks! She’s helping to coordinate a brilliant event for Midlands bloggers for the #blogitforbabies tour and is one of four Mum bloggers participating in the #mums4good campaign through BritMums and Give as You Live. Such a generous Mummy Penny is!
We are really moved by Penny’s Little Legacy project as well. What a wonderful way to remember and celebrate those who have made such a difference in our lives. If you’re looking for a great project to do with your children, don’t miss Penny’s Scrapstores post with the wonderful video accompaniment!
The Alexander Residence most definitely needs to be added to your reading rota and do follow Penny on Twitter (@aresidence) as well. Congratulations Penny and good luck with all of your charitable ventures in the coming weeks!
Now, I’m going to start making that Ark in the lounge with Ella…pardon me while I start sawing…until next week, Happy Blogging!

Thank you so much for your lovely words Karin. I've been hugely tied up with charity stuff but I do feel embarrassed it's taken me so long to get here and say thank you. #blogitforbabies in Nottingham was a fabulous day yesterday.
