The Yorkshire Evening Post, Yorkshire’s biggest regional newspaper published a double page spread article plus a cover shot this week after BiBs finalist Vicki Psarias – aka Honest Mum, was interviewed by them about her blog and being a BritMums Brilliance in Blogging finalist!
The article which tells Vicki’s story and features a video Q&A about her views on blogging and the opportunities it provides, mentions BritMums not once but twice in the feature! Vicki is one of five finalists in the Social Media category at this year’s awards which will be presented on Saturday evening by TV Presenter, Carol Smillie.
As a Yorkshire girl myself and also the BritMums Blog Editor, I was delighted to see a fellow Yorkshire blogger doing well and helping to spread the word about blogging to readers in my region. The Yorkshire Evening Post is a well respected and widely read publication and I was happy but not surprised at all to see Vicki’s smiling face on the front cover when I opened up my mailbox this week!
