The Antigua Verandah resort and spa looks like it would have something for the whole family this is so important with children whose ages range between 10 and 5 months. Looks like a relaxing break for parents too! 🙂

    09 January 2017 / 12:45

As its unlikely that we will be able to afford to go anywhere this summer any of them would be amazing!

That said I would choose the Verandah bay resort, as I can quite easily see myself sitting in one of those chairs, watching a fabulous sunset, safe in the knowledge that my children would be able to play safely on the beach below. #Heaven

  4. 09 January 2017 / 12:47

The St James’s Club and Villas in Antigua sounds like the perfect island adventure for me and Boo, my Mum has long been travelling to Antigua and it would be great to take her along for a multigenerational Caribbean holiday…

  5. 09 January 2017 / 12:56

After reading the amazing blog posts, I would love the opportunity to take my little water baby to the Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua. As my husband works long hours away from home winning this competition would give us the most precious gift of all, time together as a family.

I’d pick the St Lucia resort as that’s the first holiday me and my other half went to, with it being our first ever holiday aborod for the both of us it was very special and after welcoming our first child in march 2016 would be great to go back and take our wee man. A wedding in St Lucia will definitely be on the card too

St James club Morgan bay, me & my husband got married there in 2015, it was my first time abroad & we had the most amazing time, couldn’t have asked for more, we have been dying to go back ever since, just perfect x

  10. 09 January 2017 / 21:38

St James club Morgan bay resort. I would love to go back here and re-live my honeymoon with my husband. The hotel was fantastic, they serve beautiful food and the restaurant on the beach is breathtaking! I couldn’t fault the staff and would love the opportunity to be able go back and see them again and definitely finish working my way through the cocktail list ❤

  11. 10 January 2017 / 07:03

The Verandah in Antigua looks incredible. We’ve never been a shame far as the Caribbean and it just looks beautiful. I can’t think of a better way to spend the first summer with my little girl!

The Verandah in Antigua it looks perfect , somewhere the whole family would love and enjoy . From reading Mummy Travels review there is plenty of food choice and the beaches sound amazing

  14. 10 January 2017 / 16:05

It would have to be St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay for me.
My mum went to St Lucia and she said it’s such a beautiful place to go. Would be my husbands and I first holiday with our baby x

    10 January 2017 / 20:32

The St James’s Club and Villas in Antigua .As we have visited the St Lucia resort twice and we know St james Club will have the high standards we look for, and would love to visit Antigua as never been to this island.

  16. 11 January 2017 / 05:30

The Verandah in Antigua looks the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by and the food looks fab x

  17. 11 January 2017 / 07:28

St James’ Club in Antigua looks like a heavenly place. Perfect for family relaxation

  18. 11 January 2017 / 08:17

Ooh Antigua: The Verandah Resort and Spa, I’ve transferred through Antigua on family holidays as a kid but never had a chance to explore. I would love to be able to treat my family to a holiday of a lifetime on such a beautiful island.

  19. 11 January 2017 / 10:43

I’m now daydreaming about sunbathing on a beach in Antigua. Reality: I’m cleaning dried Weetabix off the kitchen table. What would do for a holiday like that? ANYTHING! Well almost anything. If I had to choose Id say the veranda in Antigua is to die for. I’m not sure if I could give up our annual camping trip in Wales for it though? (I definitely could) Great reviews!

  20. 11 January 2017 / 11:18

I can’t do much to impress my teens these days but St James’s Club Morgan Bay in St Lucia will hit the spot! Imagine all the photos that would be shared on 5 social media accounts, never mind the blog! If I am ever going to get my teens to holiday with me this year – this will be the destination.Perfect combination of culture, action and quality. Love it!

  21. Vilma Crissien
    11 January 2017 / 15:01

    11 January 2017 / 15:57

The Verandah Resort and spa in Antigua looks absolutely stunning. Perfect for making once in a lifetime family memories x

  23. 11 January 2017 / 18:01

Antigua: The Veranda Spa & Beach resort. I would love to show my children a turquoise sea for the very first time. We all need some sunshine after a tough few years if ill health. It’s all about making memories now!

  24. 11 January 2017 / 19:57

This would be perfect to recharge the batteries after the summer holiday madness!

  25. 11 January 2017 / 20:54

Antigua: The Verandah Resort and Spa please and thank you! Looks like paradise. Not that picking Play-doh out of the grooves of Lego pieces at home isn’t paradise in its own way. 😐

    12 January 2017 / 06:43

How fantastic does the Verandah Resort and Spa sound in Antigua, somewhere I’ve never visited but long looked at with it’s beautiful beaches and scenery, our first family holiday abroad ever would be magical somewhere like this.

  27. 12 January 2017 / 10:05

Oh my goodness how am I supposed to choose between the three?? I think it would have to be Antigua: The Verandah Resort and Spa! It looks absolutely amazing! we love to have a holiday there and write all about it on The Places We Will Go xx

  28. 12 January 2017 / 21:35

Well they simply ALL look amazing but I think the Verandah resort and Spa look like a little piece of heaven. We have not had a holiday abroad just the four of us. Ever. Our eldest is now 10, TEN?!
We always intend to but then things get in the way. We have family that live away and so we end up going and staying with them which although lovely for the first days, it is enough to drive you crackers come day 3. This would literally be our dream. Our decade of a dream actually!

  29. 12 January 2017 / 21:39

St Lucia Morgan Bay sounds AMAZING! (well they all do to be honest!) Happy new year. Have tweeted – twitter handle @thebeesleybuzz

St James looks amazing and I could see my boys playing touch rugby on the sandy beach now ! Just a lovely wish and sight

  31. Samantha Mann
    15 January 2017 / 22:13

I Love the sounds of Antigua: The Verandah Resort and Spa. I love the fact that the place has its own catamaran, My 6 year old is desperate to go snorkelling ‘in the wild’ as he puts it and that would give him the perfect opportunity. The food choices sound great with a good mix of casual and more server based choices. Plus I love that they do Culture classes… Id love to learn to cook authentic caribbean cuisine. The fact that you get all inclusive water sports is a bonus and something i know my adrenaline junkie family would put to good use. It sounds like a great option for me and my family <3 (Tweeted from @MrsManfalou)

  32. 17 January 2017 / 14:22

I would absolutely love to visit Antigua, it is such a beautiful island and I know as a family of three we would have an amazing holiday together. Time together is so precious and a holiday is the perfect way to relax and have fun together.

  33. 17 January 2017 / 14:22

Wow I would say St James Club Antigua as it looks like it would have plenty for my soon to be 5 year old boy to do!

Money is tight for us single parents so winning a holiday to that destination would be amazing as it’s unlikely I would be able to ever take him somewhere so luxurious otherwise!

  34. 17 January 2017 / 14:25

St James Club Morgan Bay sounds amazing and in particular the off site activities especially the volcano and Toraille Waterfall – what amazing experiences! The Jen describes her experience at the hotel sounds so relaxing and we all know with children that can be a challenge at the best of times!

  35. 17 January 2017 / 14:27

What perfect timing as I hibernate while thinking of all the different ways to get things done without leaving the house. How fitting that for the last few weeks…few weeks…okay months dammit, I have been telling myself its time to get back on the keep fit regime. While convincing myself that walking up and down the stairs (to the chocolate tin) is as much exercise as the average human. How fitting that I have been dreaming of white sandy beaches and how, if I could just get through these winter months, I may end up there. If you are real and not just in my dreams, I would love to take my family to St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay please.

  36. 17 January 2017 / 14:29

Definitely St James Club Morgan Bay… partly because it looks amazing, and partly because I’ve wanted to go to St Lucia since I was teeny, probably because it sounds like Lucy. 😂

  37. Karen Willmer
    17 January 2017 / 14:33

Definitely the St James’s Club Morgan Bay St Lucia as that’s where my parents went on honeymoo … during a hurricane!! I unintentionally went into labour at 26 weeks in Jamaica so she’s definitely a Caribbean baby and would love to take her now she’s a toddler. The people are so friendly, and the food INCREDIBLE! 🙂

  38. 17 January 2017 / 14:40

I don’t usually enter giveaways, but wow! – What a prize! I love the look of St James Club Morgan Bay because I love how vibrant and fun it looks, but also chilled. I’ve never been to the Caribbean before and I’d love the chance to take the boys.

  39. 17 January 2017 / 14:43

I would love to return to Antigua and stay at The Verandah. As a former Travel Specialist for Abercrombie and Kent, my family and I have been fortunate to stay at Carlisle Bay and Curtain Bluff in the south of Antigua and Jumby Bay, just off shore on an island to the north of Antigua. I would absolutely love to stay at The Verandah resort with my husband and two young boys and enjoy all of the many water sports facilities. Great reviews Susanna, Jen & Cathy!

  40. 17 January 2017 / 14:45

I will pick St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay as my children would love to go on trying out the adventures!

  41. 17 January 2017 / 14:55

I’d love to visit the St James’s Club and Villas in Antigua. As I’m part of a small, but perfectly formed little family, I’d love to take along my best friend and her son – a fellow single parent – as single parents deserve a little luxury too. I’m on a journey to improve my health, and that of my son, and know that the fresh food, clear blue water and and white sands on offer are going to help me get to where I need to be. (Whilst enjoying the occasional cocktail of course!)

  42. 17 January 2017 / 15:00

What a great prize! I’ve never been to Antigua or St Lucia, and I’d love to go to all of these resorts, but my favourite is St James’s Club Morgan Bay St Lucia. The resort looks particularly good for teenagers (I have two!), and I’ve wanted to visit the Hotel Chocolat cocoa plantation on the island ever since I heard that they offer tours there.

  43. 17 January 2017 / 15:03

It would have to be the St James’s Club Morgan Bay for us! I remember reading Jen’s review of it back when she posted it, and I have dreamt of visiting ever since! We have done so many tourist type holidays recently that I would love to go on one where we do nothing but relax! (she says knowing full well that she would end up wanting to explore everything!)

  44. 17 January 2017 / 15:08

I would love to win a holiday to Antigua: St James’s Club and Villas as it looks as though it has the best facilities for a younger family with an exciting kids club as well as an huge array of activities for Hubby and I to enjoy too. I loved reading Susanna’s review and if we are selected, I will ensure that I packed some board shorts to wear on the fitness sessions 🙂
    Thank you for the opportunity

  45. 17 January 2017 / 15:08

They are lovely places to visit. I would choose St James Club, Morgan Bay. This would be an ideal place to relax after such a horrible time, health wise last year. My family are very active and would make the most of the water sports and activities available
    Great competition 🙂

  46. 17 January 2017 / 15:09

The Antigua Verandah resort and spa looks like our kind of thing – something for everyone. With a mix bag of ages that is so important for us. They all look wonderful on a miserable day of course!

  47. 17 January 2017 / 15:12

I’d love to stay at St James Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia. We would love to have another Honeymoon since I was so ill on our original one.

  48. Ruth Wollerton
    17 January 2017 / 16:01

I would love to Stay at St James Club Morgan Bay, St. Lucia. It looks like HEAVEN on earth. Thanks for the chance xxx

  49. 17 January 2017 / 16:04

St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay…though they all look wonderful. For some reason the name St Lucia has always sounded luxurious to me and it woul be an excellent place to spend a family holiday.

  50. 17 January 2017 / 16:06

Oh wow these all look absolutely gorgeous but I think if I had to choose the Veranda resort & spa in antigua just do it for me! 😀

  51. 17 January 2017 / 16:25

We’d love to stay at The Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua, although we’d be over the moon to stay at any of them. They all look incredible. We’ve never been to the Carribean before so to win this would be amazing.

  52. Marianne Marshall
    17 January 2017 / 16:26

St James’s Club Morgan Bay St Lucia would be my choice! Hubby and I never had a honeymoon but with two young children who need some adventures, this sounds like the best of both worlds. Amazing prize!

  53. 17 January 2017 / 17:00

Looks **amazing**. Oh my how to choose, I think St Lucia, but all the resorts look amazing!!! Everyone gets to have fun AND relax.

  54. 17 January 2017 / 17:25

They all look fab, but if I had to choose I’d say Antigua St James’ Clubs and Villas. I think my boys would love all the activities and I really like the sound of 6 swimming pools !!

  55. 17 January 2017 / 17:29

Having not felt real warmth and sunshine in years, The Verandah Resort and Spa sounds like paradise, although the other locations sound amazing.

It would also be the first time I would be flying with my son – who’s never flown before – what an adventure that would be.

Thank you and good luck to all.

  56. Kelly Hirst
    17 January 2017 / 18:56

The Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua sounds amazing! Love that it’s all inclusive & it sounds full of fun with fantastic food for all the family

  57. 17 January 2017 / 18:59

I’d be happy to stay at any of them, but The Verandah Resort and Spa Antigua looks uh-mazing! We’re living in a renovation project at the moment and I couldn’t think of anything better than being able to tell my husband and the kids that there’s some loungers in Antigua with our names on them – so much nicer than being surrounded by dust!

  58. 17 January 2017 / 20:37

This looks awesome, just the tonic for the winter blues! I can see myself and the kiddies chilling out at The Verandah in Antigua…bliss!

  59. 17 January 2017 / 21:08

The Verandah Antigua sounds like it would be perfect for my family! Then again, I think we’d have fun at any of them 😉

  60. Jo Cawdell
    18 January 2017 / 09:02

The St James Club Morgan Bay St Lucia sounds and looks amazing. I would love to be able to tell my husband we have an awesome holiday booked this summer especially since I’ll be on maternity leave and we thought things would be tight this year. What a great first holiday for our little girl!

  61. 18 January 2017 / 09:22

We would love to win a trip to St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay – we are desperately in need of some down time after months of sickness and the chance of a fab family holiday, combined with a bit of romance for mummy and daddy and some fun family adventure would absolutely make our 2017!!!

  62. 18 January 2017 / 10:07

St James’s Club Morgan Bay St Lucia would be the choice for me and the boys. We’d love to have a family holiday this year, but the chances are slim. Haven’t had a break since my redundancy four years ago.

  63. 18 January 2017 / 10:07

The Verandah Resort and Spa in Antigua would be my choice if I were lucky enough to make it! I love the eco consciousness of the resort which was the instant appeal for me but then reading that the paths are wide enough for electric golf carts made my heart sing as I struggle to walk long distances. I would love to take my Mum to say thank you to her for caring for my son and I since I became unwell and could treat her to the spa whilst my son could be as energetic as he pleased. What a wonderful, truly all inclusive resort.

  64. 18 January 2017 / 11:07

    Oh my!
The Verandah resort and spa looks absolutely lush 😍
Having missed a babymoon due to new house renovations (which finished 4 days before my little man was born), this mamma is DESPERATE for some sun, sea and spa time! Especially 2 months into sleep regression…… time to dream……… 💕

  65. 18 January 2017 / 11:10

Wow what a great selection, they all sound fantastic, I love the sound of Verandah Antigua, think my boys would enjoy the tennis and mini golf resort and having the slide park so close by! Fingers crossed x

  66. Ems
    18 January 2017 / 11:52

Well, they all look ridiculously amazing but if pushed, I’d plump for the St James Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia. As I type this, it’s 0 degrees outside and everything outside is frozen. Me and the Mr could do with some down time, time alone to drink cocktails and stick our toes in warm sand, and we can stick our daughter in the kids club, amazing! Good luck everyone x

  67. 18 January 2017 / 11:55

Well, they all look ridiculously amazing, but if pushed I’d plumb for Morgan Bay, St Lucia. As I type this, outside it’s zero degrees outside and everything is frozen solid. Me and the Mr could do with some down time together, time to drink cocktails and stick our toes in warm sand, and we could put the kid in the kids club! Amazing! Good luck everyone x

  68. 18 January 2017 / 15:36

Antigua: The Verandah Resort and Spa, looks like the perfect place for my little family to have fun and relax in the sunshine. There has to be enough for my 11 year old to keep him busy while enough sunshine for me to top up my vitamin D. Food is high on Hubbys list, and add in a magical beach and I don’t think we would want to go home!

  69. Sophie Grayling
    18 January 2017 / 18:22

These resorts all look fantastic but I’d choose St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay as I would love to spend my time here on the beach having fun with my family xx

  70. 18 January 2017 / 18:39

Definitely the Verandah in Antigua. Looks amazing!

  71. Makeda Lawrence
    18 January 2017 / 20:07

It would be heaven to while away the winter blues at Antigua: The Verandah Resort and Spa

  72. Jan Beal
    18 January 2017 / 22:39

I’d love to visit the St James Club Morgans Bay, it looks absolutely fab

  73. 18 January 2017 / 22:42

Oh dear, how to do you choose, “eeny, meeny, miney, mo…” Ok, St James’s Club Morgan Bay, St Lucia please.

  74. Adele Baxter
    19 January 2017 / 00:46

I love the look of Antigua, the Verandah reort and Spa. Looks absolutely beautiful and reading a modern mothers review of it confirmed it’s the right choice if I was ever that lucky! Perfect for families, especially as it’s all inclusive and I love that it’s so eco friendly! Being so close to the beach and the places to eat sound great too, plus lots of activities along side the beautiful surroundings. Have no chance of going on holiday any time soon so this would be a dream come true! My lg’s first time abroad too. xx

  75. 19 January 2017 / 06:34

Oh my! To win this prize would be truly amazing. I am currently 12 days in doing 100 days of exercise, I am doing it to take better care of myself and to be a fit and active role model for my kids. I can just imagine us all playing on the beach in St Lucia at St James’s Club Morgan Bay but I’m afraid the diet wouldn’t be following us there! Holidays are meant to embrace the culture and the food right? 😉

  76. 19 January 2017 / 09:44

What a wonderful giveaway! I would choose St Lucia as that’s where we honeymooned and to take the children back there would be incredible. This hotel seems the best suited to young children as we have two children ages 4 and 6, so that’s why I’ve made this choice, they all look wonderful! Lizzie

  77. 19 January 2017 / 10:17

As I follow the writings of Mummy Travels, Aberdeen Modern Mother and Jenography online and across various social media channels I’ve been left inspired, and slightly jealous, of their coverage of all the resorts. I would, unsurprisingly, take my family to any location highlighted but if I had to choose one it would be the Verandah Resort in Antigua. Tots2Travel would love to be let loose on 30 acres of beachfront.

  78. 19 January 2017 / 10:57

My dream destination would be St Lucia St James’s Club Morgan Bay.

We are a very adventurous family and love to try new things and explore new places and experiences. We’re all water lovers so I suspect a lot of time would be spent in the many pools or just floating in that wonderful turquoise sea. Having an only child the organised activities would be perfect, giving her the chance to mix with other children while learning a new skill like paddle-boarding – hell I want to have a go at paddle boarding.

We love to eat new foods so would make full use of the six different restaurants. We also like to mix it up a bit on holiday so it’s great to know that as well as the all-inclusive activities, there’s plenty to do in the locality. The hot mud volcano looks like an absolute must!

    Fingers crossed!

Whilst all 3 look amazing and playing eenie meenie miney mo did not draw any conclusive winner, I would choose St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay from reading the blog posts. We are a very active family who love nothing more than to explore and feel St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay would offer us beach fun, a gorgeous island to explore and give me a great training ground for early morning runs! Also the girls would love splashing in the gorgeous waters, what more could you ask for?

The Verandah Resort & Spa Antigua sounds perfect for our family. It looks absolutely beautiful, and I love the fact that there are so many different activities to choose from. Then there’s the stunning beaches, tropical landscape and all-inclusive luxury: basically it’s a dream destination for us!

  81. 19 January 2017 / 13:56

Any of the three would be amazing, what an awesome trip this would be to take my husband and two girls on.
I think my choice would be Antigua: The Verandah Resort and Spa <3

  82. 19 January 2017 / 14:36

They all look amazing but I think my favourite would be St James’s Club and Villas Antigua. I love to try a variety of things on holiday and it sound like with so many restaurants, pools and watersports options no two days would be the same. The kids club and extra things like tennis mean the boys will be spoilt for choice and I might even get the chance to relax, perfect!

St Lucia: St James’s Club Morgan Bay would be our choice; the island of St Lucia is on our bucket list of places to visit. Our daughter Mollie loves to swim and the gorgeous seas around this resort would make an excellent opportunity for her to explore the local sealife. Its our 10th wedding anniversary this year too and we could have a 2nd honeymoon.

  84. 19 January 2017 / 15:35

St James’s Club Antigua sounds like the perfect place to get away from the strains of everyday life.

I think the Verandah looks perfect. But who am I to choos? I’m just mum – my son is insistent that we go to St Lucia next – apparently he absolutely needs to see a volcano!

I would love to go to St James’s Club Morgan Bay. For many years I worked as a secretary in an export office and I looked after the sales rep for the Caribbean and he would always say how beautiful it is at St Lucia so it is somewhere I’ve always longed to go. And from reading Jenography’s review it sounds perfect.

Antigua: St James’s Club and Villas Sounds perfect for a first family holiday and a long overdue honeymoon after getting married in August! It’s been a hard year dealing with cancer in our family so some R&R and sunshine would be amazing x

  95. 21 January 2017 / 15:19

I think without a doubt I’d be happy to go to any of them; it’s the Caribbean after all! If I had to choose we’ve love to visit the Verandah Resort and Spa. After getting married in October, where we were vomiting all day, we can’t quite afford a honeymoon. I’d love to surprise my *husband* with this and, after 14 weeks of being poorly (damn you Winter bugs!) we could really do with the getaway! xx

Would love to stay at St James’s Club and Villas in Antigua. The other half is a big cricket fan and Antigua has many links to cricket. not least the fact that St Vivian Richards Street is next to St James’s Club and Villas!

Not everything is essential in this life, and not everything fascinates me. However, enjoying peaceful moments where everything seems colourful, where everything seems to be so beautiful, match with the Verandah Resort and Spa.
Dreaming is good, but enjoying life is better. 🙂 #dream #QOL #Holidays #love

  108. 25 January 2017 / 21:53

What a difficult choice, they all look so fantastic. I’ve chosen St Lucia because we visited before kids and it’d be lovely to return for family fun.

  109. 25 January 2017 / 22:19

St James Club Morgan Bay St Lucia looks divine

  110. 26 January 2017 / 16:25

I’ve read all the posts (and daydreamed I was there with each) but for me it has to be St James Club Morgan Bay. You had me at ‘taking it easy’ with the swimming, floats, waterskiing lessons, kayaking etc etc! The hot mud experience in the volcano looked the best. I’ve swum in a hot crater but never plastered my body with it!

  111. 26 January 2017 / 19:39

St James’s Club Morgan Bay looks amazing and I would just love to stay there.

Awww they all look so lovely but my favourite out of the 3 is:

Antigua: St James’s Club and Villas.

We’ve not been on holiday as a family yet and our little one is just about to learn how to swim. I’d love for her to have to opportunity to put her swimming skills to the test in such a lovely resort and also have fun on her first ever holiday!

The Verandah in Antigua would be our choice. It looks a perfect fit for us, with heavenly beaches on the doorstep, plenty of fun activities, spacious accommodation and sublime food. I have just read the outstanding Trip Advisor reviews and this would make 2017 a magical year for us. Just the flights to pay for and a quick 30 minutes from the airport too, I have everything crossed.

  126. 31 January 2017 / 13:03

I would choose St James’s Club and Villas. I visited Antigua many years ago as a child and still remember watching the sunset at Shirley Heights and the old fashioned beauty of English Harbour. As the hotel is just round the corner from both I would love to take my children to visit!

  127. 31 January 2017 / 16:42
