Summer is finally here and it has been fantastic weather to get out and about with your video camera! Many of our featured vloggers this month have been off doing stuff and recording their days but we are inclusive… We also have indoor vlogs too!!
My videos this month have been centered around home and new beginnings! I have just completed a home office makeover so I have somewhere calm and organised to blog from – complete with a ‘before’ and ‘after’ video tour. My other video was a project that my son and I completed where we observed the process of metamorphosis and turned caterpillars into butterflies!
Jane from Practically Perfect Mums filmed the world record attempt that BritMums bloggers managed to succeed in winning at this year’s BritMums Live.
Speaking of BritMums, let’s just pause for a moment to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Kirstie from The Family Adventure Project for winning a BiB Award in Video 2015! She puts together a lot of video for her travel posts – here is a recent one.
Lisa from Hollybobbs didn’t take her video camera this year to BritMums Live but she did compile a post containing video from other bloggers. However she also spent a week in Corsica with Mark Warner Holidays where she did take her camera! See what she got up to here (or more accurately, see what her kids got up to!!)
Charly from PODcast captures the moment when her daughter starts swimming on a recent family holiday! The little girl’s face is priceless at her achievement!
Liz from Me and my Shadow got busy with some other bloggers including BritMums’ Editor Mari’s World, to work with Kiddicare and Kids Company to improve the life of a vulnerable mother and baby… with paint and carpet! Check out their amazing story here, the video is c/o @kiddicare about their work with @KidsCompanyUK.
Jules from The Giggles Family has done a video diary of the last 2 weeks including a very honest account of her feelings around IVF and adoption as she considers expanding her family.
Louise from My Gorgeous Boys shows us how to wrap a burrito after a recent masterclass! For the correct technique, watch this!
And finally Kara from Chelsea Mamma and family had a fun day out at Thomas Land. Her blog post includes a video of the adventure.
The video round-up is having a summer break to create lots of memories with the family (and lots of video hopefully too!) So send me your links in September for the round-up when the kids are back at school!
