It was a family holiday to Iceland in 2007 which proved to be the catalyst for me to write a travel blog. I published a series of posts called ‘Mum’s Gone To Iceland’ and the name ‘Mum’s Gone To…’ then became my blog name. I have had an affinity for Nordic countries ever since, enjoying a two week fly-drive around Sweden plus city breaks to Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki.
I asked BritMums readers to share their recent posts about Nordic countries and was delighted to hear back from so many bloggers who have fallen in love with these stylish, happy, beautiful countries.
A blogger who introduced me to the delights of Denmark is Emma from A Bavarian Sojourn. It was while she was living in Copenhagen and writing her blog, A Scandinavian Sojourn, that we hooked up, I asked for tips about a trip we had planned, and we’ve been great friends ever since.
Our bloggers on the ground now are Erin from Oregon Girl Around the World and Nadia who is Scandi Mummy: pull up a chair, make yourself a cup of coffee and wrap yourself up in Danish hygge. Then take a look at the following posts which will give you some travel inspiration about Copenhagen and beyond.
