From the green neighbourhood playing fields to the roaring grandstands, enthusiasm for girls’ and women’s football is bigger than ever! Our #SSEWildcats Twitter chat celebrates the power of football – from the way it encourages girls to build confidence, get active and become part of a team (like in the SSE Wildcats girls’ football clubs) to the excitement of the entire family watching the high octane action of the SSE Women’s FA Cup at Wembley Stadium.

This year SSE is giving away awesome opportunities for SSE Wildcats participants to experience football as never before: winning signed balls and shirts from Finalist clubs, nominating their favourite coach to present the SSE Women’s FA Cup trophy or even being a player escort, walking through the tunnel on Cup Final day! Entering is easy – stay tuned for details!

Now is the perfect time to celebrate women and girls’ football, with the SSE Women’s FA Cup Final in May – a great outing for the family to see a top class footballing spectacle.

The chat is powered by SSE, which supports the SSE Wildcats football programme. The SSE Wildcats programme offers young girls a platform to grow, providing a pathway to success they’ll enjoy their entire lives!
