Style Round-up: Tis the season to be stylish

By now you have the Christmas decorations up, the food order is done and the presents are almost wrapped and under the tree. This month’s Style Round-up is dedicated to all things winter and sparkly to get you in the mood to be the best wrapped up Mama this Christmas day!

First up don’t you just love this outfit from our very own Style Queen Sian from Quite Frankly She Said. This beautiful dress is breastfeeding friendly with stunning lace detail!

It’s taken six months for me to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I am AWFUL at diets, I just love food and can’t ever restrict myself. I tried before the wedding but only ended up bingeing on crisps and toast every weekend 🙈 Then (after the wedding, typically) I learnt about intermittent fasting, gave it a go, and the inches just dropped off. I still want to tone up a bit more and my core still needs a LOT of work so I’m doing yoga and Pilates on the very rare occasion that I have time. But I’m okay with how I look now. I’m 35, I’ve had 3 babies, I don’t sleep, so I’m never going to look the way I did when I was 25 am I! I love this dress that @milkandmummy sent me, it’s a breastfeeding dress and will be perfect for wearing on Christmas Day! (Yep I’m talking about the big C already!) ……………………………………………………………………………………………………….. #chooselovely #postthepeople #mytinymoments #writeyouonmyheart #inbeautyandchaos #ourplayfulstyle #thesincerestoryteller #thehappynow #livebeautifully #myhappycapture #stayandwonder #thisismycommunity #keepitsimple #inspiremyinstagram #smallthings #quietchaotics #searchwandercollect #calmversation #thatvelvetfeeling #aquietstyle #howihue #makeportraits #cornersofmyworld #asecondofwhimsey #humaneffect #lifewellcaptured #distractionsandinspirations #stillswithstories #normalisebreastfeeding

Mary – MaryBadassMeadows.com

Mary is rocking the new Christmas Selfish Mother jumper! The lovely glittery letters on this really sparkle and even more so when you realise you have donated to a worthwhile charity too. This post comes with some wise words for us all this Christmas!

How’s your Christmas spirit levels? 🤔🎄🙈🤪 lots of conversations this weekend with friends who feel they have massive to-do lists, little time, poorly kids, and generally feeling the pressure…if you are reading this thinking ‘yep that’s me’ take a step back, (literally if it helps) remember the #reasonfortheseason if you aren’t religious then think about what the reason is for YOU. Think about what’s important to YOU, not what you think is important to everyone else…no one has a ‘perfect christmas’ because no one has a ‘perfect life’ so embrace the mess, scrub some stuff of the to-do list, ask for help, say no, and give yourself permission to enjoy the magic 😜 #magicisthereifyoulook #ginglebells #mrschristmas #takebackchristmas tee from the gorgeous ladies @parentapparel

Carrie – Mother of all Letters

Carrie is looking great for a wintery Christmas day walk in this outfit and we do love the pretty detail making this shirt less lumberjack more mama chic.

Nadine – JuggleMum

Our very own Nadine will be stepping out in her Hotter Shoes this winter. Don’t they look so comfy! To dress up why not add a cord mini skirt and some forest green or burgundy tights! Perfect winter colours!

Lucy – MotherFudgerBlog

Lucy rocks a good red lip and we love this post which features some funky homemade sparkles. I mean who can’t love it when the kids make you junk jewellery!

So what will you be wearing over the festive period? Let us know using the tag #britmumsstyle on Instagram!
