Snapshot Round-up: Capturing Light

We love the warm glow that Autumn brings. Even with a chilly undertone, it’s a favourite time of year for many. While the trees cling to the last of those leaves, we see the light change. The lush green fields resemble postcards and the sky brings a brightness we crave come the end of the day.

We’ve celebrated sunrise and sunset whenever we’ve had the opportunity. So what better way to kick off this month’s Snapshot Round-up than with a beautiful sunrise from Catch a Single Thought. Taken in Murchisson Falls National Park Uganda, it was no easy feat capturing these superb colours on the move.

There have been beautiful scenes in the UK too. A fabulous example being Global Mouse Travels who took this gem in Pembrokeshire,

Life As Our Little Family who captured these wonderful skies in Manchester

and Katie Randomnest who took this amazing skyline with her hot dog in the foreground.

What great landscapes there are to capture too, like this picturesque scene by Ninja Killer Cat.

It doesn’t seem that long since we smelt blossom in the trees. Lucky Gingerlilly Tea discovered an orchard not far from home which was perfect for exploring.

While The Ordinary Lovely ventured to North Wales taking a football, a picnic blanket and a flask of salted caramel hot chocolate.

Maybush Studio hit the coast recently too for a winter walk in West Wittering. From the shore they can look back across the harbour and see their house nestled among the trees a few miles away.

We’re not just capturing light outdoors either, this fabulously timed shot was taken by Tigerlilly Quinn at the cinema

and just look at all those sun rays lighting up Capture By Lucy!

As for the Doves, we’ve been keeping warm and sharing chips whilst sheltering from the rain. We loved it when we were rewarded was bright skies, incredible views over the Surrey Hills and the best outdoor playground!
