Shopping Hauls: March on for great purchases!

Shopping Hauls Round-up

Mother’s Day has been and gone and I hope you all had a great day. I spent most of the morning lazing around and then we visited my parents for dinner and a catch up.
I received some nice pressies from my two babies (they’re 10 and 12 now) – most of them were either interior-related or gifts that satisfied my sweet tooth – I was a very happy mummy!

For my own mum and mother-in-law, we took them out for a meal the night before, bought them a flower plant and hid a gift card in their Mother’s Day card – they seemed to appreciate their gifts.

Gifts galore

It seems other bloggers and vloggers have also been busy with treating their own mothers to a range of goodies.

Rachel Bustin offered a Mother’s Day gift guide on a budget blog post, which highlighted her purchases from one of my favourite shops, B&M.

Some of her great purchases included a peg board, a muffin mix and some super cute unicorn skippers.

Meanwhile, Day of Knights put together a video on a Mother’s Day haul from Home Bargains.

Her pressies includes moisturising shower milk; soap; an exfoliating wash mitt; body buffer; coconut oil for the hair, scalp, face and body; a skin smoother and foot scrub. Some of them sound good enough to eat!

Summer lovin’

Now that Mother’s Day has been and gone, and spring is finally here, we can start looking forward to summer.

And what better way of marking summer than with a clothes shopping haul? Childminding Mummy did just that and picked up a whole range of goodies for her family from Primark.

Among the items in her video haul were shorts, summer dresses, Hawaiian shirts and summer accessories including sunglasses.

But my favourite purchase of hers was a bang on-trend pale pink suitcase with a geometric 3D design for just £35. I might just have to pay Primark a little visit myself soon!

Meanwhile, someone else who had their eye on shirts was The Uncheshire Wife, who managed to find three super stylish buys from Zara – including a reversible design.

I think all shirts should be made reversible – it’d half the wardrobe space and double the wear you get out of them!

That’s about it for the March – next month I’m focusing on the changing seasons and what you’ve been doing to update your home and garden in preparartion for the warmer weather.
