September Video Round-up: Travel, makeovers and decorating!

We are all now firmly ‘back to school’ and this new start for the kids has translated into plenty of new starts for the mums too! This video round-up features an abundance of family days out and holidays over the summer but also some makeovers and home transformations!

I have been very busy with video recently as we had some fab places to go this summer which started at Camp Bestival. I saw the excellent band The Fabulous Lounge Swingers again this year and this post contains a video of this talented act. I also did festival beauty and this post includes a Primark haul!

We all enjoyed a family day out bowling but my husband and I managed to get a date night too over the summer!

We weren’t the only bloggers at Camp Bestival! Michelle from The Purple Pumpkin Blog shared her weekend away at Camp Bestival and as a first timer, it’s good to see what she made of it all!

Kara from Chelsea Mamma attended a wedding this summer and filmed this fun video of the happy couple’s first dance. Watch the video to see the bride and groom upstaged by their 9 year old son!

Sarah from Family Travel Times has decisions, decisions to make! Her interesting visit to a museum here explains more! She also wrote and vlogged about what to do in and around Nottingham with the help of her family. Her daughter is the very able camera-woman!

Sonia from Mummy Constant has been camping at Barn Farm in Birchover recently but she also did a video after BritMums Live back in June! Let’s have a reminder of the weekend shall we?

Alice from Project Wanderlust shared with us her week in Cornwall. Watch here for part one and here for part two!

Gretta from Mums Do Travel gives us a room tour of her Hotel Tiffany holiday room from her trip to Italy. It’s always nice to see where you might be staying before you go!

Laura from Chez Mummy has been really busy travelling this summer, here are a few videos about a day out at Kidzania, London; a day out at the Tower of London; her first ever weekend vlog and finally a Bratz doll unboxing and what her daughter thinks of it!

Vicki from Honest Mum went to Spain this summer but she has also been busy presenting for ITV’s Good Morning Britain show about Back to School. It’s great to see our bloggers doing so well – congrats Vicki! Being very glamorous, Vicki has also shared her beauty video tutorial – to see how she does it, watch this!

Two bloggers have let us into their homes. Amanda from The Ana Mum Diary has given her teen daughter a bedroom makeover and filmed a virtual tour of the before and after! Lisa from Hollybobbs filmed a tour around her daughter’s fairy bedroom, featuring her mid-sleeper bed, customised wall and lots of personalised features!

Lucy from The Parent Game and her son reviewed a Lego Minecraft set and her son really wants to get into the BritMums Video Round-up! He danced round the living room at the thought of being featured! Here you go Luke:-)

To finish this month, we have a fashion vlog. Emily from My Petit Canard did a Boden haul and presents the video with her daughter!
