Review: Snuggly Rascals headphones for children

Snuggly Rascals Headphones in boxWith the Easter holidays upon us, this means… ROADTRIP! Perhaps, you may be taking to the air or sea, but wherever you may roam, if you have the kids in tow, you’ll know the challenges of keeping them entertained with music or film during travel.

These headphones may be the answer! We reviewed two pairs of Snuggly Rascals headphones that make listening to audio on the move, easy, comfortable and fun.

We were sent one bunny and one panda headset to try. Angelo and Valentina loved them from the start, here they are trying out the styles in their rooms!

Snuggly Rascals are a UK based brand who create quirky and fun headphones for kids. They have just released a new Easter special edition bunny headphone (one of the styles we tried) alongside their usual range which includes a unicorn, monster and farmyard animals.

What we found:
They both agreed it was ‘cute and fluffy’. Once unpackaged the headphones are ready to be used. They can be connected to the majority of audio devices, tablets and computers utilising a standard 3.5mm audio jack connection. Valentina adored hers so much, she sometimes sleeps with it on not to listen to anything but simply for the cosiness of it. The sound is quite clear.

Other features of Snuggly Rascals:

  • It is made from fleece and contains ultra-flat speakers inside the headband
  • The headband is adjustable and is fastened with Velcro
  • It’s machine washable at low temperatures
  • It can be comfortably worn for long periods
  • The volume is a maximum of 85dB suitable little ones
  • What I loved: The characters are delightful and gender neutral and best of all the headphones are easily portable. These snuggly pals will make awesome travel companion in any climate.
What I didn’t love: It’s a bit fiddly to get the headband and speakers into position for the best listening experience.

The headphones cost around £14.99 each. Prices may vary as their website lists the price in dollars. Visit the Snuggly Rascals website for further details or to buy.

Thank you to Snuggly Rascals for the headphones they sent for the purpose of this review.
