You might have realised there was no review round-up last month, and the reason behind it? I had to fly to the Czech Republic to be with my family as my dad was at the hospital. Anyway, I am not here to talk about that, but to present you a huge variety of review posts I came across last month.
Last few weeks have been much colder, and facing the school run in rain and cold almost every day is something I could really give a miss. I have to admit I prefer winter to autumn, but really miss not having much snow here in the UK. Luckily I have been sent a gorgeous pair of Crocs, and if you are after some new boots to keep you warm, I cannot imagine any better than these!
I love swimming and have been currently training for the next Swimmathon. Swimming kept me fit while pregnant with Olivia, and not long ago, I was dealing with a problem finding some nice post baby swimwear. If you are in a similar situation, I am sure you will appreciate this review.
I have to admit I am not a huge Star Wars fan, but daddy is, and maybe Isabelle will follow one day too. I am actually so bad, that I saw only the first movie, would you believe it? Anyway, if your little one is, you should definitely check out Joanne Mallon’s May The DVD Be With You review, as she thinks it is a great DVD for children who love star wars.
The next review has caught my eye, as I hope that one day I will be writing one similar too. Yes, there were five very lucky mummy bloggers who went to review Disneyland Paris, and if you would like to find out if it is worth going, check out Slummy Single Mummy‘s review.
Would you believe that you could review a forest? Yes, everything is possible as you can read in Liveotherwise’s post about being a forest ambassador. Shame she didn’t manage to upload the video, I would have loved seeing how the little man has grown since the last time I saw him.
If you are after a great movie to make you laugh, Nova was reviewing one, so don’t forget to pop over to her blog and read why she liked it!
Shrek the musical is on our “must to see” list as we haven’t had a chance to go yet. Isabelle loves Shrek, and I still remember going to the cinema to watch the movie with daddy when we weren’t married and lived in Sydney… this is one of my favourite movies which always makes me laugh no matter how many times I have seen it.
With Christmas round the corner I just have to include this crafty post as I believe many children would love making foam Christmas trees or snowflakes. I am sure our daughter would love to do so too, and believe this could be a great activity for one weekend afternoon.
Would you be surprised if I told you I used to be a ski instructor? Yes, a few years ago, before living in Sydney and London. That’s why I know how important it is to have a good ski jacket, and the one Michelle reviewed on her blog definitely looks like a great one.
The last review to mention today is of Twinkl. Our Isabelle is also in year 1 and this just sounds like something we could really do too. Apparently loads of ideas to help your little one with reading and writing.
I hope you have enjoyed this Britmums Reviews Round-up, and if you would like me to read your review and maybe mention it in the next one, why don’t you add your link below, email me allbabyadvice@yahoo.co.uk or tweet me at @Kahanka.

Thanks so much for including me in the round-up! Bit chilly for swimming costumes today, brr. Lovely to read other people's posts too.

Thanks a lot for the mention Mirka, ohh how interesting that you used to be a ski instructor. I have hardly even ever set foot on proper snow! lol

My pleasure. I love skiing, was born just half an hour away from some gorgeus mountains in the Czech Republic. On the other hand I have to say I don't miss snow in the town.
