The quality of writing we feature on Post-40 Bloggers continues, amazingly, to rise. Each month, I think I won’t be able to top the post I recommended in this spot last month. Each time I’m proven wrong. And maybe ‘better’ is not the term I’m looking for, because the writing on our site is as diverse as it is good. Someone might have a talent for description, another for dialogue and another for conjuring up emotion in a time and place.
This month’s recommended post and blogger does it all.
My absolute, unequivocal recommendation for the post you should not miss reading is entitled ‘Grace – A Life Lived.’ This outstanding piece of writing – part tribute, part reflection – is from the blog Touchline Dad and Mother in the Middle.
Mother in the Middle shows us what beautiful, stripped back and authentic writing looks like… and it is, of course, very moving.
