Positively Inspirational Round-up: Embrace Happy

Positively Inspirational Round-up: Embrace Happy

inspiration round upThe weather has been lovely down here in my corner of sunny Essex. It really lifts the spirit to open the bedroom curtains in the morning to birds singing and sunshine streaming through the window. Summer inspires me to get out and about more, to lose that extra winter weight and to get healthy which is why I love the idea of a health blog hop from Joy over at PinkOddy. Just what I need at the moment as I’ve spent the past two weeks on a juice fast, eager to lose weight and get myself healthy. I think having  somewhere to go to gather motivation, support and inspiration from others, who are also on a healthy mission is a great idea. Joy’s blog hop starts on Monday.

Staying with Joy for just a bit longer I read her inspirational post about being homeless at sixteen and I was so moved by what I read. Overcoming homelessness and abuse at such a young age was tough for Joy, but she fought hard, against all the odds to rebuild her life, and put her on the path to having the wonderful family life that she enjoys today.

The lovely Ross over at Ross Mountney’s notebook reminds to ‘Stand and Stare’ just for a moment to still our minds and appreciate all that surrounds us, to remind ourselves how beautiful life is and all it has to offer. As Ross puts it “Sit among the plants and heal”. Beautiful advice and something I will be doing more of this summer.

Another great post that I read last month is from Jayne over at ‘Mum’s The Word’, she has a really positive message for us all as she encourages us to love ourselves more by setting a self-confidence challenge for us to love ourselves more. Every week, Jayne will be taking a suggestion from a fellow blogger of something that she can do which will positively impact her self-esteem and then she will try it for a week, and come back to tell us how she got on. Great idea, and she is also setting up a linky so we can all join in.

Who’s heard of #EmbraceHappy? Have you seen the first ripples on your Facebook timeline? Your Instagram Feed? Well the lovely Karin has set up Embrace Happy to encourage to make room for more happiness in their lives, a site full of inspiration, positive inspiration, in this post she talks about Casual Fridays, go take a look, you know you want to.

I’ll round-up this month with Ruth aka ‘Dorky Mum’ and her lovely post about ‘Boy Love‘ and what it is like to live in a family of boys, something I am an expert on, having grown up with five younger Brothers. Ruth puts it so beautifully, ” There is nothing in the world like boy love. It is enthusiastic, and always a delight.”

I hope you enjoyed this months round-up and I wish you all a wonderful, fun and sunny summer. The lovely Michelle is back for next month and I’ll see you back here in August. Bye, Bye for now x

Thank you very kindly for not only featuring me (twice) but for the very kind words too.

It is an honour to be featured with such inspirational bloggers. I am going off to read more about the ones I hadn't heard about - thank you.
