I’ve got a little confession to make…. I totally forgot about this until our lovely editor Mari came chasing me up yesterday. I know that life is good for me right now as I rarely forget anything, I’m always the queen of organised but just recently I have been so busy just getting out there and living life that little errors get made. But no harm done, here we are with the positively inspirational round-up and it is a great one as you all made it happen. I give you the crowd-sourced edition –
Being beautiful
The first blogger to jump straight in there with a recommendation for me is Kelly from Domestic Goddesque. She was lucky enough to win a studio session with Julia Bogglio just recently and it is very moving to read her account of how special she was made to feel during her day. Like many people I had assumed that Kelly was a confident women who spent a lot of time making herself look good. Whenever I see her she always looks immaculate and glamorous, it is therefore interesting to see Kelly write – ‘I’m not anti-fashion or anti-style or anti-make-up. I just would rather have ten minutes more sleep than take effort with my clothes and my hair.’ Ohh a girl after my own heart, who would have guessed it?
Getting outdoors
Helloitsgemma sent me to my next destination, to read her post titled distraction. I can’t tell you much about it or I’ll give it all away but suffice to say I loved it, simple and to the point and it makes you want to get outdoors.
Then talking of outdoors, I’ll share one of my posts with you. Just recently I have worked on a campaign for Mark Warner holidays, where they challenged ten bloggers (including me) to get out and enjoy being active with all the family. We have had a blast this month trying out new activities and my favourites have probably been barn dancing and basketball, which surprised me to no end! Living in the countryside really does seem to change a girl!
Loving your life
Donna at Little Lilypad undertook a nice little project recently, she put a call out to bloggers to tell her what they love about life that is free. Check out her list of the top 50 and comment to add your own. My personal favourite – kissing in the rain, not done that for a while. I need to add it to the autumn bucket list.
Cas from Mummy Never Sleeps sent me over to visit the next post and Walking with the moon is a new blog to me, but I really liked this post. It is right up my street with lots of references to gratitude and a fabulous practical idea to carry out with your kids.
I’m going to leave you with Molly from Mothers Always Right, she wrote an awesome post a week or so ago and it includes an exercise that every parent needs to undertake. It will take you just moments and I promise that at the end of it you will feel good. Go on, try it …..
Thanks for reading, if you have any recommendations that you would like included in my next Positively Inspirational round-up then leave me a link in the comments and I’ll come over and read and comment.
Have a great November, Mich x
About Michelle Pannell
Mummy from the Heart is the fourth baby of Michelle, a 46 year old (manic) mother living in East Sussex. Having moved to the countryside and ‘retired’, Michelle can now be found eating too much cake and taking long walks. She lives life on the bright side and looks for the joy in every situation, even the excess pounds those cakes keep adding! Michelle’s blog is a very honest place where she shares tales of imperfect parenting, being a Christian digital activist and anything else that takes her fancy.

This might be a little late in coming and I'm not sure it fits the bill but there is a bit about seeing the positives in negatives in a post I very recently wrote so thought I may as well share it with you

Hi Michelle, I'm 17 weeks into a year-long adventure in sharing and giving stuff. It's called Our Time of Gifts and, every week, I'm donating, giving or sharing my stuff, then writing about it. So, far, it's been amazing!
This week, I've written about how our gifts were given in the spirit of Samhain, the Celtic festival that Halloween partially comes from: http://www.pigeonpairandme.com/2013/11/samhain-spirits-our-time-of-gifts-week.html
There's a background page for Our Time of Gifts here: http://www.pigeonpairandme.com/p/our-time-of-gifts.html
I hope you enjoy having a look through what I've been up to!

Am I allowed to point you in the direction of my own blog? Just written a brand new post about positive thinking after a particularly stressful day last week. Thought it might fit nicely with your round-up? Hope you like it! Thanks for reading :)
