My Best Post of The Week >> Add yours

MBPWHalf term draws to an end, Halloween has been partied on down and now we gather wood for Bonfire Night on Tuesday – people I am officially knackered. Can you say cream crackered online without it being classed as a swear word? Do I have the strength to be bothered about it?

I didn’t have days out planned, I wanted to keep it nice and easy… and then the clocks changed so our days started even earlier than normal! We have cooked and played, and partied and read and even done some homework too. There have been playdates, cinema and I still have three more days to organise as Monday is a development day at our school.

I’ve seen some mums filling every single day with an experience or day out with their kids and I take my hat off to them but it must be totally exhausting? Am I the only one who likes to let them chill out a bit and relax? Please tell me I’m not.

I’ve heard a lot of Year 2 parents complaining about the amount of homework given to their children for half term and we’ll get that next year so worth keeping in mind when planning the break. Did you struggle to fit homework in? Our Year 1 had to do a diary so the day we made Lemon and almond jumbles I got them to write the recipe out …bloggers in the making.

And now Halloween is out of the way I am sure it will all be Noel, Noel from here on in, on that note I made my Christmas pudding this week too, what did you get up to?

Time to add your ‘My Best Post of The week’ to the Linky below and if you can visit another couple of blogs whilst you’re here, share a little comment love.
