Christmas Crafts and decorations
Starting us off is a great kids Christmas activity involving pasta! Curious and Geeks have this fun pin showing Christmas trees made from pasta. Sarah over at Craft Invaders shows us how to make colourful recycled gift bows on her pin from old magazines and junk mail. Perfect for wrapping all your presents and helping with the recycling also.
Danielle from Someone’s Mum shows us her homemade DIY tree decorations. Looking at the pin, these are fantastic and eye-catching Christmas tree decorations. All made from buttons and twigs. Then Eva from Captain Bobcat shares her delicious Lebkuchen Christmas tree decorations over on Pinterest and I’m sure this is a popular pin!
If you are looking to make an angel Christmas tree topper, Louise from Little Hearts Big Love has made a beautiful one in memory of her late daughter Jessica. Chloe from Life Unexpected has this great fun craft that you can make. It is to make you own hanging branch advent calendar Christmas tree. Her pin is very Scandi style which is a winner on Pinterest at the moment.
One of the biggest elements of a happy Christmas is food. I always like to make my own Christmas cake and I’m sure you have your own Christmas food traditions. After researching Christmas food over on Pinterest, trust me there are some wonderful creations! I’ve found these delicious pins.
Wendy from Daisies and Pie has a pin on Christmas buffet ideas. Great for a stress free Christmas. If you have vegetarians round at your for the big day and are looking for some inspiration, Katie from Mummy in a Tutu has some great suggestions on what to feed a vegetarian at Christmas. Of course we all like to aim for the perfect Christmas dinner, so why not check out Hayley’s pin from Devon Mama where she lets you in on some tips and tricks.
I’m very much a sweet tooth, so these mouth-watering sweet recipes are great for Christmas. Filipa from Gourmet Mum has this showstopper of a cake. It’s a chocolate brownie reindeer cake with cranberries and white chocolate chunks. If you love mince pies you may like Kerry’s mince pie and brandy cheesecake from Blissful Domestication. By looking at the photos on her pin it looks divine.
Of course it isn’t Christmas without a biscuit or two! For those of you who are gluten-free Jules from Pondering Parenthood has these beautiful stained glass window biscuits. Her pin shows us the finished biscuits with a Christmassy touch.
I wish you all a fantastic Christmas and see you in the New Year.
