Paint is one of the most versatile mixed medias there is and can add a splash of colour to so many different art and craft projects. There are so many types of paint such as acrylic, watercolour paint, glass paint and even puffy paint.

Bubble paint project with bubble guns
Anna and Luciana from in the playground have been trying bubble process art. Bubble painting is a great fun projects for kids as well as a great mixed media project for crafters. Try this bubble painting process art activity that actually uses bubble guns!

Easy Paint pouring for kids
Paint pouring is something I have always wanted to try and Josie from Me the man and the others has made a great tutorial thats easy for kids too. Im sure you will all get addicted to watching the paint pour and create some amazing shapes with this fun paint craft.

Make your own chalk paint
Did you know that chalk paint is really quick and simple to make? It is great fun to play with and you can use it for so many things! All you need is some chalk and water. Take a look at Gemma from at Childs play ABC’s tutorial on how to make chalk paint.

Painting with flowers

Run out of creative ideas? Download a free printable and colour it in with paint! Sarah at extraordinary Chaos’s Princess alphabet is so cute and it can be downloaded and printed for free. Not only that it is a fun learning resource so all sorts of words can be spelt out then painted too.

Try painting on rocks
Painting rocks is a fun project for all ages and it can be done so easily. Learn how to paint rocks with Catherine at Growing family and then go hide some!

Use puffy paint
Anna over at Hodge Podge days show us how to make an adorable moon card with puffy paint. Puffy paint can be really fun to try and creates some great effects.

Try painting on a mirror
