Video Round-up: Creating a series

Video Round-up: Creating a series

video round upThe lovely thing about doing this round up has been seeing vloggers go from strength to strength in their use of video. This month I thought I would feature three vloggers who consistently come forward each month with a video to share.  Each has created a successful series of videos.

Charlotte over at The Crumby Mummy also runs the blog for the Wellbeck Farm Shop. She’s been making some lovely behind the scenes videos recently, last month she shared cake making and this month she visited  chocolatier Boutique Aromatique. I’m drooling just watching Charlotte.

Jen from Love Chic Living continues the makeover series of  her dining room, and this month she is focussing on the wall art.  Go meet Steve the Stag head and find out how to arrange pictures artfully on the wall. It’s looking awesome Jen.

Mirka over at All Baby Advice regularly captures her children doing what they do best. She’s been doing a monthly videotime of baby Olivia, so it was lovely to see Isabella pop up with a really cool school project, delivered so very confidently!

Have you thought about using video to create a series?  It can be a wonderful way to capture changes in your family, your life, your house or a project and can create a sense of expectation in your audience.

Toyota Mash Up Challenge

You still have time to star in the Toyota Christmas Mash Up, just get your family involved in singing a verse from the 12 days of Christmas, telling us what you really want for Christmas. There are free family cinema passes up for grabs for taking part. Always super organised, Nadine over at Juggle Mum, and her family have a 12 Days of Christmas demonstration for you. Deadline 9th December, more entry information here.

Easy peasy Christmas video

If you don’t have time to make a video this Christmas, why not play around with Jib Jab which lets you put your family’s faces into animated blog embeddable video or e cards, here’s my how to make a Jib Jab Christmas message guide.

Have a wonderful December, I will be back in January. I’ll leave you with the video I captured this month, of a particularly cool toy which had my whole family clambering to get creating. The one theme that runs through my vlogs is memory capturing. Sometimes videos are a labour of love, but when I look back at them I’m so glad I did them, it’s fab to look back at my whole family having fun together.

Whatever December involves for you, don’t forget to video it. Leave me the link below or contact me.

Thank you for including me Penny, that's fabulous. As the Dining Room makeover is coming to an end I need to think of another vlogging project for 2013. I think I might be hooked!
