Newbie Tuesday: Dorks, slugs and of course Christmas!

Deck your blogs with brand new posts,

Tra-la-la-la-laaa la la la la!

Tis’ the season to eat roasts,

Tra-la-la-la-laaa la la la la!

Great new bloggers, just for you,

Tra-la-la , tra-la-la, la-la-laaaa

So grab a cuppa and a cake too,

Tra-la-la-la-laaa la la la la!

Do you find yourself needing a large sum of cash but are not qualified for anything lucrative? Then look no further as Pushy Mother has the answer for you. She’s a new blogger with just six posts under her belt but I cannot recommend her enough as a ‘blogger to watch’ next year.

I found the most awesome dork this week! Don’t panic I’m not offending anyone as Military Dad is a dork – loud and proud! He’s also partial to a spot of family jousting which is never a bad thing!

One of the great things about Christmas if you have school age children is having a couple of weeks respite from having to get up super early to cart them off to school and this week has seen mummyplus4 saying ‘thank goodness that is over‘!

Un-organised for Christmas? Stressing about the state of your skirting boards ahead of the arrival of your mother-in-law? Well take five minutes out to read this really lovely post from Blue Bear Wood which I guarantee will put the festive mayhem in perspective.

Speaking of Christmas, which I feel that I can safely do now without causing too many palpitations, Buddahfulkat has taken on Julia’s Place ‘100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups‘  and in doing so has managed to make Christmas dinner gone awry.

A blogger who’s been talking through her Christmas journey from stressed to excited is Curly Mum, who is looking forward to some special family time.

I’ll leave you with a blogger who has been under siege – Ju’s musings on life. Those of a weak disposition or anyone who has recently re-heated a  cup of tea in a microwave may need to look away now!

All that’s left for me to say is that I wish you all a very merry Christmas be it peaceful or action-packed and thank you to both BritMums and your good selves for all your support and for reading Newbie Tuesday these past few months. I look forward to seeing the great new bloggers that will emerge in 2012! Ho Ho Ho!
