It’s August! I realise I am stating the obvious and saying the old cliche’, Where is the year going? Hasn’t time flown? but it really does seem to me that time is flying along and before we know it it will be Back to School.
All the more reason for us all to make the most of our holiday time together.
This week it’s time for Trish’s Travel round-up and if you have been somewhere or are going somewhere and write a blog post make sure you get in touch with her as she’s looking to create a bumper round-up in September.
We’re off to France next week, we’re taking our caravan to Normandy, it will be a first for us towing abroad hence why we’ve chosen somewhere in the north. Honfleur will be on our doorstep and we’re also taking a couple of days out to visit Guernsey which I’m very excited about as I’ve never been before and have heard lots of lovely things about it, I’m waiting for my guide book to arrive to start planning.
In fact my best post of the week will be the one that took me a long time to create. I wrote a list of everything I need to remember to take with me and then thought – that might make a great post? So I made a document which can be downloaded directly by clicking on the image. For me that is Progress with a capital P.
See here What to take on a caravan holiday – then husband took a look and pointed out I’d forgotten stuff so I’m going to have to repeat the entire process now and update the post! It’s all good learning right?
I’ve also spent time trying to make my images more Pinterest friendly this week, using PicMonkey I’ve managed to finally come up with something I’m happy with, trouble is I now want to go back and alter all the ones that aren’t quite good enough now, you see I’m forever creating more work for myself . What do you think? And yes, they were simple to make (15 mins) and delicious muffins too.
Add your favourite post from the last week and try to visit another couple of links and leave a comment but above all have a fantastic weekend.

You're right, time really is flying! Have a brilliant holiday. I haven't got round to making my images Pinterest friendly yet, I'm working on better labelling of my blogposts at the moment - that's hard enough work!

I find Sarah the more you dig the more you find and it is an endless process but seeing as it's one I enjoy I'm happy to carry on digging.
