Litter hotspots: What areas around the UK need help? Vote now! #ad #lovewhereyoulive

litter in a park - BritMumsLitter is such an important topic  — as parents we become more aware of litter because we’re so often out and about with our children in parks, in city centres, in public spaces, and we notice it. At the same time, we’re teaching our children not to drop packaging when out and to put rubbish away at home.

Clean up with us!

We’re thrilled to be partnering with McDonald’s for a weekend of Love Where You Live Clean Up Events on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7th October 2018 – a weekend where local McDonald’s teams and specially appointed Parent Influencers are getting together to work to tackle litter in their area. Across the UK 7 Influencers will be doing a local clean-up with McDonald’s, and we’d like to invite you and other families to take part!

Did you know about the work McDonald’s does to tackle litter?

These Love Where You Live Events are part of McDonald’s UK’s commitment to tackling litter. McDonald’s has partnered with Keep Britain Tidy as part of its 12-year Love Where You Live anti-littering campaign.

Not only that, McDonald’s UK has also been powering its delivery fleet with recycled biodiesel from cooking oil for 10 years. And you may have seen testing of paper straws in restaurants too, helping to reduce the amount of plastic used.

Would you like to take part in a  Love Where You Live Event in October?

You’re invited to come along with your family to help clean up your local area with a  McDonald’s team on the weekend of 6/7th October!
