Last year saw 500+ people come together and share two days of immense fun and one of the nicest ways to approach this event, especially for first timers, is to introduce yourselves, this way you can find new contacts, someone to say hello to before you’ve even stepped inside The Brewery.

We know from experience that for some people an event as enormous as ours can be quite overwhelming, we want to reassure you that we’re going to be doing everything we can to ensure you have the best time ever and feel welcomed into the fold. How I look: Long brown hair, most definitely salon blow dried before a big event like this as I have a terrible frizz problem!
Is this my first blogging event? No, it is my 7th year, I’ve been at them all since my blog started in 2009!
I will be wearing… Hmmm not sure yet. I do like a dress for the BiBs but it depends what’s clean. I’m on a hen do in Amsterdam the weekend before #BML16 so whatever I have in my wardrobe will have to suffice!
What I hope to gain from #BML16: This will be my first BritMums Live since I took over as BritMums Editor and whilst in this role I have greatly expanded my circle of bloggy friends! So I would like to use this opportunity to meet people in the flesh who I have only spoken to on social media and email. PLEASE come say “Hi” to me if you see me and I didn’t spot you first! I promise I am a friendly soul and won’t bite!
My tips for a great conference: Wear flat shoes, come in with a smile, be yourself and most of all, have fun! I wrote this post last year with networking tips if you need a bit more reassurance!
