Lean on Turkey Competition Terms & Conditions
  1.  Participants must be UK resident and over 18.
  2. There are 6 separate prizes of £250 cash and a group cooking masterclass with Marco Pierre White. The group cooking masterclass will be held in London, UK on Tuesday 26 June 2012.  Exact times and venue to be announced.  In addition to the £250 cash prize and masterclass, the cost of travel to and from the masterclass and related refreshment costs will be reimbursed up to £250 per winner, subject to production of valid receipts.
  3. The cash element of the prize will be sent by cheque to the winners no later than 30 days after the closing date and reimbursement of travel expenses will be paid by cheque within 14 days of receiving each winner’s receipts by sending original receipts by recorded delivery to BritMums LOT competition, c/o Shorthose Russell, 12 Meridian Way, Meridian Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0TA.
  4. If a winner is unable to confirm their attendance at the masterclass and/or be unable to attend this part of the prize will be forfeited and a runner up/runners up will be offered their masterclass place.
  5. No cash alternative will be offered for the group cooking masterclass and travel expenses whether or not a winner is able to attend.
  6. Participants can enter by posting an entry on their blog which includes their favourite original turkey recipe, and then enter the URL which links to the post onto the Lean on Turkey Linky (alternatively, leave URL to the entry in the comments section of this post).  Make sure you specify on your post that your entry is for the BritMums Lean on Turkey Competition, sponsored by Lean On Turkey.  For information on how to create a free blog go to www.wordPress.org
  7. Participants may enter as many times as they wish by creating additional blog posts with recipes, so long as these are posted on a separate post to the original entry.
  8. The start date is 18 May 2012 and the closing date is 11 June 2102 and all entries must be received by 17:00 GMT on that date.
  9. Marco Pierre White, as an independent judge, will choose six prize winners based on his favourite entries. Marco will judge the entries and pick the winners based on creativity, versatility and the participant’s personal style.  The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Winners will be notified via email to the email address they provided on their blog by 14 June 2012.  Prizes not claimed within 48 hours of notification will be forfeited and offered to a runner up/runners up.
  11. The name and county of the winners will be made available on request to those enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope to Brit Mums Limited at the address set out in condition 3 above, within 6 weeks of the published closing date.
  12. If for any reason any part of the prize can no longer be provided, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of the same value.
  13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical issues resulting in blog posts not being submitted.

  15. The promoter reserves the right to remove an entry that is threatening, abusive, harassing or invasive of a person’s privacy; sexist, racist, profane, blasphemous, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory and/or offensive; promotes violence or advocate, condone or assist any unlawful act; describes violent intentions towards other people or organisations; is pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene or lewd; is used to impersonate any person or to misrepresent the participant’s identity.
  16. The copyright of entries belong to the entrant, but entrant grants BritMums Ltd and Lean on Turkey the right to use and promote the recipes.
  17. Winners can choose to take part in the masterclass, and material from the masterclass (which will be filmed) will be used in the Lean on Turkey campaign.
