BritMums Bloggers of the Week: Expecting & Birthing Mamas

There must be something in the air! Yes, Spring, warm breezes, sunshine…but lately there have been a whole load of mum bloggers who have either been bringing new bloggers-in-training into the world or announcing their impending arrivals. We thought it was high time to shine the spotlight on some pretty amazing expecting and birthing mamas.

Last week, Jax at Making It Up managed to downplay her Braxton Hicks contractions and then wake all of Twitter up with a gorgeous new baby for us to ooh and ahh over.

This week, after 42 weeks & 5 days of pregnancy, Luschka at Diary of a First Child welcomed Squidgy into the world only two hours after baking a cake! Also having a home birth like Jax, these mamas make birthing babies look positively blissful!

We’re all waiting now for Mirka at All Baby Advice (who is about a week overdue), Heather from SAHM Loving It, Emma from Me, The Man & The Baby and Mum on the Brink who will be due in the next few months.

More recent pregnancy announcements include Deborah from Metropolitan Mum, Vicki from Honest Mum and last week’s Blogger of the Week Lucy at Dear Beautiful Boy.

This year’s BritMums Live! will be bursting with beautiful bumps and bouncing babas! So raise a glass of champers (or orange juice for you expecting mamas) and give a cheer for the new arrivals and those yet to come this year! Congratulations to you all!
