Laithwaites: Everyone needs an official wine partner!

Print

Laithwaites are delighted to be an official wine partner to BritMums Live!

Laithwaite’s Wine started in 1969, when a young Tony Laithwaite drove a van filled with wine, from Bordeaux to the UK, hoping to share his excitement at tasting delicious, authentic, locally-bottled wines. 45 years later Laithwaite’s Wine is still an independent run by Tony and Barbara Laithwaite and their family – a traditional wine merchant that currently holds a wide range of over 1,400 wines.

Three of these wines have been chosen for your enjoyment at the Brilliance in Blogging awards party: A dry, crisp sauvignon-based Gooseberry Bush from South Africa; the fruit-filled Spanish rosé or perhaps try our best-selling ‘poppy’ wine from Italy – Il Papavero.

For more information about the wines and how to get hold of some to enjoy at home: email libby.woolcock@laithwaiteswine.com. Want to choose your own? We have a great Laithwaite’s Wine store under the railway arches at 219-221 Stoney Street, just by Borough Market. 1,000 wines for you to choose from, and always a large number available to taste everyday.
