I hope everyone is having a fantastic Christmas break and making the most of the time with their families. And talking of families, I am really pleased to introduce to you a brand new blog on the block – kidGLloves!
This is a blog written by kids, for kids and with guest posts from kids! Grace and Lucas are the children of Victoria from Verily Victoria Vocalises and Cathie from Wicked World of Lucas and they have teamed up to form the GL Gang. Writing from the perspective of a 7 year old girl and a 5 year old boy, kidGLloves are going to be reviewing things like toys and games and giving their opinions on…well…pretty much anything.
As well as all of this, they have a linky called ‘Mini Creations’ It’s is a very straightforward photo linky running every Wednesday so you can keep a record of the things your kids have done so you can remember them and not feel guilty when you throw them away! (‘although my Mum has put them in a box in the loft and my Dad has been complaining about it!’ – Grace). You are welcome to explain what it is, put a date on it as well as the age of your child and then it will go on your blog and our linky for all time as a memory for you to treasure. Starting on 8th January!
Then there is ‘Dogged Determination’ – the column written by Ash the dog, as well as Telling It Like A Todder – 3 year old Joshua’s review on the world. Joshua is the son of Jaime from The Olivers Madhouse.
We would love loads of kids to get involved and have their say – whether it be that your Mum writes down your thoughts or takes a video of it – and you can send it to us at kidglloves@gmail.com.
kidGLloves have loads of exciting things lined up for 2014 – we really hope you can join in with us J …because sometimes the Mother’s words just don’t pack a punch!
