Do you have a Best Post of The Week? Have you written about the Christmas festivities chez toi? I’m afraid I haven’t this week as I have been so busy preparing the house and food for 11 of us – it kind of sucked up all my time BUT I am so happy to report it all went very well indeed.
Christmas lunch was hugely successful as was the entire day, everyone slept well – apart from me that is as I tossed and turned in a single bed in the girls room and worried about not waking up to put the turkey in the oven on time! Consequently I was exhausted by 4.30pm and had to sit out of the games.
I have eaten my body weight in every kind of indulgence on the market and yes, I have already started contemplating a diet in 2014 *sigh*
On that note, I’ve done something else that I need help with, more specifically YOUR help. I have signed up to help Team Honk again this year after our hugely successful Snowdon climb last year. This year Team Honk are passing a baton from Land’s End to John O’Groats for 2014 Sport Relief and my role in this will be to get the baton from Gravesend to Southend on the 25th Janaury.
If you are anywhere near me, London, Thanet, Kent … and can help me cover the 36 miles by foot, boat, bike or – you name it, PLEASE, please contact me, at the moment I’m on my own and I really don’t think I can manage 36 miles on my own.
I seriously need you. Can you help?

So Sorry we are in the wrong neck of the woods for our stretch of Team Honk :/ Glad your Xmas was fun and busy, I know how you feel with the exhaustion too. WE are still mid way through all our guests. Blogging is very much taking a back seat. Still, I'm letting Womans Own take the strain :)
