    January always feels like a clean slate, or a chance to start anew, don’t you think?  So I am going to dedicate this months blog post to the amazing makeovers that I have found in the blogging community this January. You have all been really busy and I’ve spotted some incredible transformations and advice about how to keep our homes looking tip top for 2017!

    First up – Expanding your home, and moving into the loft space, which is very topical at the moment as more and more of us are improving rather than moving home.  Both Jen from Love Chic Living and Karen from Making Spaces, have successfully created more space, by converting their lofts into extra bedrooms.  They are seriously impressive and if you are intrigued to find out more than you can see the full transformations HERE & HERE.

    Talking of bedrooms, here are some more inspirational posts, of the nocturnal variety.  I was lucky enough to go to the Heimtextil interior trade show earlier in the month, and I met Olivia Silk a fellow interiors blogger from the UK.  I love her bedroom so much, which you can see in this link.  It’s more than a little Pinterest famous too.

    Nadine from JuggleMum has created a bedroom fit for a queen, and Rachel from Ordinary Lovely is in the middle of bedroom makeover plans that she’s sharing with us in this post. Can’t wait to see the transformation Rachel.

    Karen at Well I Guess This is Growing Up is showing off her daughters new bedroom, and has some handy advice on how to hang a wall mural in this next post.  The 80’s vibe is strong my friends on this one, and I LOVE it, hope you do too!

    Moving onto living rooms now is Cate St Hill, who recently moved into her new home, and boy has she made an impact in a short amount of time. I love Cate’s style of warm minimalism and scandi chic that has a real soul to it.
    Another new home makeover comes from Tiffany at Curate and Display, who gave her daughters bedroom a fresh minimal and altogether beautiful scandi makeover, it’s an incredible transformation. 
     
    Finally, here’s a couple of bloggers offering you some advice, with Kat talking about how to style you kitchen shelves  and Kimberly from Swoonworthy telling us 8 secrets for a tidy home.  Which I believe she recently had to put to the test when she realised someone was visiting and she only had 15 minutes to tidy up.  I’m going to be following these tips closely Kimberly, I need all the help I can get!
