Next week sees a whole host of beauty, fashion and lifestyle bloggers come together for the 4th Annual Cosmopolitan Blog Awards in London at the OXO Tower on the Southbank. With over 43,000 blogs nominated, 133 blogs shortlisted, and then 42,000 votes it’s all very exciting to see who the winners will be. As I’m a Finalist in the Best Interiors Blog category I thought it might be a nice opportunity to show you the other Finalists and offer you some new and fab blogs to read over a cuppa.
First up we have The Treasure Hunter, a wonderful blog full of gorgeous designs from the world of fashion and home. I just love one of her latest posts looking at how fashion influences our home interiors, with clever images from the catwalk to the cushion! Check it out, it really is inspired.
Antonia and Tidy Away Today is a regular in this roundup and I’m loving that she’s just taken the leap and gone self hosted. Her blog is full of family friendly, down to earth home and interior advice, including great storage ideas. I’m loving the gorgeous window film makeover that she did in her conservatory last month. It’s a brilliant way to show how something so simple can have a huge impact on the look and feel of a room.
Patchwork Harmony is a vintage lovers delight. Caroline loves to mix vintage style with contemporary and industrial decor creating something both fabulous and unique. Caroline is also the editor of the free online publication, Magazine 91 and has a history as a successful photo editor. As you would expect the imagery and photography on this site is just gorgeous and well illustrated in this post about Online Vintage Homeware shops.
The very lovely blog at Lucy Writes is full of useful, pretty and informative articles on beauty, fashion and interiors. Lucy funds lots of the reviews herself so you really know she’s showing us what she likes in a balanced way. I love these gorgeous little storage boxes she found at a High Street supermarket at a bargain price. Just as Lucy says, ‘it would be rude not to!’.
If you’re into your interiors and design in particular you’ll know that last week was London Design Festival with a whole of host of amazing designers showing us their new designs. Another contender in the Cosmopolitan awards is Design Lovers Blog, a wonderful site full of design inspiration and creative moodboards. And you know how much I love a moodboard! One of their latest Festival posts showcasing their discoveries at designjunction is just gorgeous.
Abby writes Un-Observed, another gorgeous site full of home decor, fashion, beauty and design. Abby also runs her own craft, homewares and accessories shop with her Mum! Her blog is chic, classy and very stylish with some great down to earth recommendations. I’m loving this recent post of her home finds from Zara.
And then finally there’s me! I’m really excited to meet the other bloggers in my category, none of whom I’ve met face to face and I’ve even given the blog a little makeover of its own by way of celebration.
So I do hope you enjoy discovering some lovely new blogs to satisfy your love of home interiors. See you next month.
