Home and Design Round-up: 4 Bedrooms and a Scandinavian!

Do you love reading about interiors? Whether it’s a guilty pleasure whilst enjoying a cuppa, or if it’s a obsessive compulsion, checking Pinterest before any other social media in the morning (I’m raising my hand on that particular one) then this BritMums Round-up is for you.  I would love to feature more of your home and design posts so please do send me links to any posts you have written. Lots of you have been doing makeover projects this month, so I wanted to feature those to begin with. Starting off with four, yes FOUR, bedroom makeovers.  The first from Lotts and Lots, who has come so far with hers, but is looking for inspiration for the final push.  I am loving her pinterest inspiration board, I think its going to look amazing.  Wave to Mummy is also looking at final touches for her bedroom makeover, to add a bit of her personality back to the room.  Gone are the furry mouldy walls (hurrah!) but its some homely touches, maybe a splash of colour that Wave to Mummy is looking to add now.

The next bedroom makeover is from Renovation BayBee who has gone for cool greys, that must make the room feel so light and airy.  It really made me chuckle about the black-out blinds, we’ve done exactly that too!

Now if you would like a sneak peek into a bedroom renovation that’s for both a Mother and her baby, I spotted this gorgeous one from Emily May this month.  I loved the colours used, and how both adult and baby schemes within the room work so well together.

Next up, is one of my favourite interior bloggers, and whose makeover I have been dying to see a sneak peek of, Karen, of The White Approach.  I think it takes a really clever eye to pull off the Scandinavian style that she has opted for, and she has again risen to the challenge bending the brief effortlessly to fulfil the look she wanted.  Ohh she’s good!  I love how in this post she has used images to illustrate her thought process too.

Finally, one from me, as I have been adding lighting to a busy area of my home, and I am so pleased with the results. What do you think?
