Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Jess from Jessica Loves and as of January 2018 I’m the new Home and Interiors editor for BritMums. To quickly introduce myself I blog about lifestyle, travel and interiors. Until now interior design has always been my husband’s forte (he’s a pro with a paint brush and transforms people’s homes for a living) however, I’m going to be giving him a run for his money now!

I love getting interior inspiration and styling ideas from other bloggers and have a penchant for very bold yet beautiful homes. Whilst I love The White Company inspired minimalist, chic and very clean homes this level of white-washed living is hard to maintain with two little, grubby-fingered humans in tow.

Which, brings me perfectly onto the striking trend for bold, wild and artistic interiors. I’m in awe of so many bloggers who’ve completed bold transformations with wow factor wallpaper, vintage inspired furnishings and stunning artwork.

So, to getting things rolling as the new Home and Interior editor here’s four interior bloggers I’d like to recommend you check out. Be warned though, you will want to shop their style, so maybe hide your wallet first.

    Name: Katie Woods
Blog: Come Down To The Woods
    Instagram: @comedowntothewoods
Reasons to follow: You’ll find plenty to lust after on Katie’s blog and Instagram feed, I’ve lost hours scrolling through her striking room revamps. In the last 12 months she has transformed all 15 rooms in her house, nicknamed The Peach Palace (nearly every room was peach when she brought the house two years ago). Her bathroom make-over with highly-coveted brass fittings and a pink roll top bath, yep, PINK is amazing!

    Name: Beth Parnell
    Blog: Dotty Dishes
    Instagram: @dottysdecor
Reasons to follow: If you’re a fan of patterns, tropical and pineapples you’ve come to the right place. Beth’s love of colour and fun is infectious. Her Christmas staircase was a festive colour splash and something I’ll definitely use for inspo next December! I’m pretty sure it feels like summer in her house all year round.

    Name: Jess Hurrell
    Blog: Gold Is A Neautral
    Instagram: @goldisaneutral
Reasons to follow: Like the Gold Is A Neutral House I too have champagne tastes, yet more-often-than-not a lemonade budget. But Jess manages to mix high end with high street interiors perfectly. I cannot help myself from constantly dipping back into her blog for inspiration and DIY advice on all things bold and glamourous.

    Name: Katie Ellison
    Blog: Mummy Daddy Me
    Instagram: @mummydaddyme
Reasons to follow: Statement mirrors, velvet chairs and eye catching wallpaper all feature in Katie’s family home alongside an ever-growing collection of house plants, all named and firmly part of the household! Her style is easily shopable and her frugal approach means when you see something you love (which you definitely will), it won’t break the bank.

If homes and interiors is your thing, please come and say hello via Instagram @jessicalovesblog and I’ll try and include you next month.

    Thanks for reading,

    Jess x
